Ah Tony, singing and dancing in the rain !!! Brings back memories of my daughters ballet days. Her eisteddfod group did a tap dance to singing in the rain (with twirling umbrellas) - and not a bad job done either - won quite a few firsts and other placings over a year or so. Trifley, the only brand on my bike is Mellenium Cycles which is a shop here on Bribie. Don't know where he gets them from. The poor bike has been having a holiday lately as I have been lazy. Was going to ride it to hydrotherapy today, but with the wind getting stronger, was just a little harder to ride into the wind - and the asthma wasn't helping much. Will have to get back into my exercise next week in a BIG way. Yea, I like that too Jood Cilla, I would have packed and moved out by now. Snakes are my nightmare. Good puddy tat !!! lol ~~~~~~~~~~ to all Pam

Ooo, Cilla, we've had our troubles with snakes. My old cat Chester was very good at baling them up! The browns are more bad tempered than the blacks, but it's the blacks that kill the browns! A friend of ours took a photo last year of a black snake eating a brown one! Either way, I've never liked them in the garden, lol. Lew Lew xxx

Hi All Just thought I would tell you about our drama yesterday we were sitting out on the back verandah talking when our cat started to run down the yard & when i turned around to see what he was chasing I saw a very large snake going in the back door, luckily he went under the washing machine & the cat backed off,Jim pulled on his rubber boots & took off after him or her he moved the machine & it came back out & into the wall cavity(we have had plumbing problems & had to take some of the wall panel off) We had to wait at least 2hrs for him to reappear again but on his way down he discovered a small hole at the back of the toilet wall which he started to go into. Finally Jim got him with a shovel at the back of his neck,It was a king brown 5ft 1 1/2ins long. & very angry even before he was hit with the shovel. Needless to say I kept a lot of distance between it & me.I was in charge of the animals making sure that they we nowhere near it. We have decided that we want to buy an island with no snakes or cane toads. Jim needed a few beers after & we both had dreams about the little b*****s last night. That's 2 venemous ones since we have been here & I don't want to see a 3rd. We are definately getting a doggy door put in now as the door will not be left open for anyone.I just hate to think what would have happened if I hadn't seen the cat who I might add is getting rather spoilt now he can have as mant cat treats as he wants. Will talk to you all tomorrow as I need sleep. Love Cilla

Evening All Well I have got a few boxes packed, so at least its a start. Gwenda yes the house is on the sold property's on real estate dot com dot au in Mowbray, Clark St. not a mansion but it is cosy and warm. Trifley I will say it is on the other side of town, but that is only 15 to 20 mins drive about 10 k's. So its not too bad, Girls are all excited about the move and looking forward to having a room of their own. Shazz, it was bad about the boy who was on Sunrise this morning, but when you mentioned if I had seen it, I am not sure, but have you got the 'Birds' mixed up???? I go for 'Hawks' not 'Crows' lol. As I was taking items off a pelmet, DD asked me why I had a Swans/Sydney glass???? Derr I thought, it was not Swans it was Redlegs, which was the team I followed over here before they merged with another team. Same as I have a Red and White cap hanging in the bedroom, the one I forgot to bring to Sydney with me lol. Anyway better go and make a cuppa. Cheers Sue

Thanks Jood, i've looked at them and if Shazz's doesn't come through I'll visit them. I think perhaps what I want is a spreadsheet type one not an individual month type one :) I might just have to put pen to paper yet!!! Vonny Still waiting for it to come Shazz.

hi all, thought it was time to sit for a bit, can't drink straight wine without either falling asleep or having someone to talk to, so i've got the red wine and juice mix. its quite yummy. might be enough just to calm me down somewhat. where is the scotland meet? i'm not going, duhhh, i know scotland is bigger than sydney, but my cousin may. I'm writing to her right now after this. Stick in there donna, must be the time for silly kids. when my feral one was still at school, he wanted a bright blue and yellow back pack, begged for it. He never ventured too far, but stuckl out like dogs doodahs when he was wagging. caught him out heaps because either I, or somebody I knew would see him. still laugh about it the only one at home tonight has gone to bed. the other 2 have probably decided to stay out until I have love Yvette x

Donna, I meant to say before - upbringing does tell in the end! You just have to somehow save your sanity during these years and hang in there! (((((HUGS))))) Vonny
