Afternoon Wattlers, I'm a bit late but hope you enjoy your 59 th birthday today Lara. Don't do anything we wouldn't. Laurie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and Denny's family. Sophie is a little better today, she has actually walked a few steps this morning, so we know there is no paralysis, which we were starting to worry about. It was a very cold morning this morning and it's not much better now. August usually is a cold month when we get the westerly's. Glad your Nan enjoyed her birthday Devily. I only ever knew one grand parent, but she was wonderful. She lived next door for most of my life so spent lots of time with her. I have got a birthday for tomorrow with a ? by it. Can anyone confirm please. Its one of the Judy's. Can't stay long, still have some ironing to finish. Catch up with you all a bit later Luv SuzyQ |

Hello Wattlers Lara (without whom we wouldn't have a thread) happy birthday!! Don't worry about the years.....the more years, the more fun you've had...lol. Have a great day. Shaz...hope your tummy feels better soon. The Dr will be able to help you. I go to see my surgeon to get the staples out next week. Welcome Lorraine from WA. I am the sensible, sane Watler and can always be counted on to behave in a proper manner.....don't you believe anything to the contrary. Lyn...I love IKEA. The instructions are always easy to follow (if you are a woman). Have fun with your new table. Yvette...ooowww..what sort of things are you doing with cadavers today? Have you seen that show on SBS...Anatomy for beginers? I believe it's fantastic. Coffee time! I'll be back. love to all the wonderful wafflers. Trifley X |

Hello to Lara and everyone else from Lorraine Cable in Perth. Well Lara, a lot has happened in the past 12 months, I became a grandmother for the first time, Ayden is 10 months old, my daughter got married last September and is expecting a baby in December. We sold our house and built another, been in it 3 months, settled down quite nicely, but lots of painting to do in the near future. My health has not been too good on and off this year backwards and forwards to the Dr's but I suppose we will get there in the end. Will look in again shortly, Lorraine |

I'm also a first time grandmother but soon to be a second time around grandma!! ~~~~~~~~~~~to all Vonny |

Welcome to the Wattlers thread Lorraine. We really need someone from WA to keep us up with what is happening over there in the West. What a joy a granchild is - congratulations. Sorry to hear your health has not been good but the Wattlers are always here to cheer you up if necessary - they are all mad except me! Just beware of a certain Dr Lew. Between you and I she is not a REAL Doctor and is guilty of overprescribing! Hope to see you back on the thread soon Cheers Anna |

Hi Larraine in WA Welcome, There are quite a few of us that are sane and only get led astray occasionally. Mostly when Lew is dishing out colourful pills. Rebs can be a bit disruptive, but she is laying low at the moment, don't know why. We miss her. Some will even help with your FH. Luv SuzyQ |

It's okay Trifley, I am never likely to be a granny, was never a mummy. My cousin, David, who is now 54 has never married and his Mum has always wanted to be a grandma. Ofcourse she may be but doesn't know about it. |

Hi Jood and all, I am located in Baldivis at the moment, I say at the moment because we are always wanting to move even though we have been in this house 3 months. My hubby Shane knows Barry Cable but not related, even though we say uncle Barry. I originally come from London and came to Australia in 1981 and Shane and I have been married 8 years, he has taken me back to England 3 times since then to see my rellies, mainly my mother and I was lucky enough to see her just before she died 2 years ago. I am now waiting for some of my lot to come and visit me. As for my health, I have managed to get into see the Dr this afternoon, I think it's all the pills I am taking that have made me sick this last time, so will try and get that sorted. I too can be quite mad and like a laugh and joke so I should fit right in, a. See you all later Lorraine |

I went looking for his death as I couldnt find him anywher and yes he died in 1865 age 31 where back in the workhouse...What a sad life he must have had..I felt I really needed to find him as I never knew he existed until I started looking for my ancestors. On the cert it says he died of ??it looks like Phihisis...can anyone tell me what that is.. Well better get back to work See ya later Love maryxxx |
