Hi Jood.. Glad Shazz is bringing OH as she was really in a tiz last time..LOL Love ya Shazz...but we had a good laugh... I hope to be there as we are moving in to the unit on the wednesdy, but I will have to spend thursday cleaning out the house but I should be able to say b....er the unpacking for Sat. and have the time off for good behaviour..keep your fingers crossed... Having a quiet day today as we have been doing a lot of paper work, ie..advising of change of address and organizing all sorts of things, as I will be off line for about 2 weeks as from the 7th or 8th Aug. as you all know Telstra dont do things in a hurry and say it will take that time to re- connect us to the internet. Is that what they call service... Hope you all have had a nice day, and Jood any track work on the north shore line on that Sat...I may get a train from Roseville. Bacl later Love Maryxxx

hi ya, i hope you got my reply re; 12 August. I'm hanging out to come. I'm catching the train. theres on that gets in at 9.56 (most probably be the one) and the next at 10.58. (sth coast line) Theres no track work on that weekend for me. are you coming Sandra? maybe we can meet each other on the train? I'm making sticky date for the last time this winter and am doing the sauce. Also making fish cakes and roast dinner and a couple of other things to keep the natives fed over the next couple of days. Last thing I want to hear is ' whats to eat?' Girls, when i'm being a bit of a piggy and have decided thats it! I put a big sign on the fridge ' Do not eat s**t ' sometimes specify - cakes, pastry, bread. mostly the sign works.. I read a good book , the new glucose revolution. Eating low GI makes a huge difference. bla bla bla bla. the new sign should be ' do not eat chocolate' had a good walk this morning, oh went too which was quite uncommon but pretty nice. gotta go again & check the dinner. love Yvette xx

The train getting in just before 11 is ok - we don't have to be right on time. Mary - you better give me your phone number (mobile) if we cant get in touch with you any other way. This is the actual restaurant we will be going to http://www*starcity*com*au/dir013/internetpublishing*nsf/Content/GardenBuffetRestaurant Jood <sorry for taking up all the space on here, all those who arent going :( >

Well my friends, if you look in the sky tonight you will see a new bright shinny star. Denny went to join all our angels this afternoon - so you can be sure there will be lots of laughter and joke telling going on. Such relief and such pain for Nancy & Bill and their family. Thank you all so much for your support and prayers for them, just one more to help them get through the next stage of grieving. Will catch up with you all tomorrow. luv Laurie

Don't forget to take plenty of batteries for the cameras.....we want lots of pickles! Aahhh...martoonie time....I'll be back! Love Trifley X

Evening Wattlers. Laurie our sky has a bright shining star, thinking of you and Dennys family. I have had a beaut day at Nans today with about another 25 people came to visit. Ate too much as you do when its your lovely Nans cooking, no one ever cooks as good as Nan. Does anyone else think the same or remember that of their Nans? Had a lovely baked meal with lamb and pork, and I couldnt resist, I had to have a bit of crackling, I will worry about the weight I have put back on tomorrow :-( After reading back on your mesage from today, I now know why we dont have trains in Tassie, well not passenger trains anyway. Have I mentioned before that I hate travelling on trains or trams lol???? Now Im getting nervous, with all these people going to casino, how am I going to remember all the names, Im bad at that at the best of times. Well time to have a coffe and rest for a while before bed, totally drained from all the talking, laughing, and reminising. Cheers Sue

I'm free don't grieve for me for now I'm free, I'm following the path God made for me, I took his hand when I heard him call I turned my back and left it all, I could not stay another day to laugh to love to work or play , Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that place at close of day, If my parting has left a void then fill it with remembered joy, a friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes these things I too will miss, Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow, My life's been full I savored much good friends good times a loved ones touch, Perhaps my time seems all too brief don't lengthen it now with undue grief lift up your hearts and share with me, God wanted me Now, He set me Free . Hi there Wattlers Yvette - thanks for the info on Star City - Jood gave me the site and I started to look it up then ran off to bake some biscuits! I will def be joining the Total star rewards especially if it means I win the car situated in the foyer??? lol. Shazz and I were discussing last night how much we are looking forward to meeting you, as you sound as mad as us. Tassie - re: Nan's cooking, you are so lucky, I grew up never knowing a nan, as both died before I was born and I have always envied people who have grandparents! As my kids were born here they also missed out on grandparents (who were in UK) Now you don't have to worry about meeting us lot in Sydney and remembering names - I will only know the names of 5 people and one of those is my OH. By the way you don't need trains down there in Tas, your roads are fantastic. You wouldn't know what a traffic jam was, would you? Trifley - the Hinze Dam is such a lovely place, we visited there 3 yrs ago when we took my sister from UK up to Qld for 2 weeks. It did have quite a bit of water in it then, but guess it is like our Sydney dams and very low. My sister was amazed that there were so many places to visit in Aus that you didnt have to pay to get into. Laurie - So sorry to hear about your friend Denny, I have been reading the thread and felt for you and her parents as we lost my brother in law (then aged 35) in a road accident some time ago and can empathise with what has happened. My condolences to all her family. OH and I actually assembled an Ikea gate leg table this arvo (for my miniscule kitchen) and I gave out the instructions and OH did as he was told. Result - table assembled in just over an hour. Those instruction pamphlets just have pictures, arrows and not a single word!! Used table tonight and it remained standing! Hi to everyone else popping in tonight. Looking forward to catching up with all those attending the Sydney meet on 12th. Lyn

Evening all, the wanderer returns. Wonder where we can go for dinner tomorrow night? I could get used to this! Laurie, I'm sad for Denny's family and for you and Ray. It is so difficult to say good-bye. I am glad Denny is finally at peace. What beautiful words Lara and Anna. Quick check of the boards and then to bed.
