Well, the tumult and the shouting dies, the visitors and the kids depart. Lovely evening, food was great and then we had dessert here and then they considerately went home early-ish :) ~~~~~~~to Lew Lew. Getting desperate are we? pmsl. (for those in the dark go and look at the 5-letter thread.) Feel really good, just a bit weary, so glad I didn't go out today. Night to all, can sleep in tomorrow (I hope) ~~~~~~~~~~~Vonny |

Hello Wattlers Lew...loved the joke, where on earth do you get them? How yummy was the most expensive item on the menu? It must be the time of year for Vet visits. Graeme had to take Jessie for her annual checkup and injections yesterday. A quick way to spend $150. It's a pity Mark never wanted to be a Vet...lol Laurie....you must be a great comfort to Denny's parents at this difficult time. I hope the best decisssion is made soon. Jill....good luck with the g-son next week. At least you will have tried. Is he in any way artistic? Perhaps art and craft things might show him his inner talents. Or gardening...getting dirty is always theraputic. No... those ideas aren't any good. I forgot you had to make it boreing. I sometimes have my little nieces here and they love to do craft. The time is NEVER boreing! Lara....how did the Bocci game go? Mary..enjoy your few days of rest before the big move. Anna...big hugs to Katherine. Hope her cold is on the improve soon. Heading off to bed now. Have a good sleep you wonderful peeps. See you tomorrrow. love Trifley X |

Hello all ,sorry didn't get back until now re the Bocci went to a barbeque tonight at the Kurrimine Holiday Park where we stayed last year we were invited by the owners of the park they are the lovliest people, just a pity that Tully is closer to Dunk Island View where we are staying this year as we had done for 6 years before we changed last year because new people bought this park and put the weekly rates up from $135 a week to $235 a week would you believe but they soon realised what a mistake they had made when nobody came here last year. So they put them back down to $165 compared to $130 at Kurrimine Beach but as nobody there played Golf and there is three regular golfers here and they take it in turns to take their cars so petrol is not as bad and we are a lot closer to Tully here so we are here for a of couple months and Tiger pays for a 3 month membership at Tully Golf Club, and this Van Park now gives you the 6th week free too so makes it much of a muchness really as far as fees go so the thing that bought us back here was the beach is lovely and the other golfers for Mike to go with. We played our friends and quite frankly kicked A**e but only first round so some much better Bocciest(?) coming up. Trifley nice to have the drainage tube out I bet rest and relax darlin while you can and don't fret about anything except getting well ok .congrats to Katherine Anna hope it went well again.Have to go to noddy land started to feel a bit weary love to all Lara |

Hi kids, we're just back from dinner (midnight) and we've had a very nice time, lol. We both ordered the most expensive entrees and mains, but the beauty is that the owner of the restaurant (who's also a friend) had already booked up a bottle of Moet to the table for our arrival, heeeee. I'll tell you more in the morning. Lew Lew xxx |

Good morning Wattlers! Tassie, how did Nan's party go? Sandra, of course Telstra wasn't going to tell you, silly! They were hoping you'd spend more money. lol Mary, how's the back? Don't overdo it. Not long now! Laurie, how are things? Now, dinner last night. Started with seared scallops on a bed of kifler potatoes ($20), then had a scotch fillet to die for. Mmmmm. No dessert, but we punished them with the champers and red wine, lol. Off to get some brekky. Lew Lew xxx |

Morning...:>))) Cold and O/cast in Meelbern. Sun is trying to shine, but rain is expected for today. ( so they say ) Am in the middle of constructing another oil masterpiece at the moment, so forgive me if i miss a Waffle or two. Haffta paint while the mood is there. Tassie mate. Commiserations bout last night. The Hawks didn't fire till the second half, but it was to big of a gap to pull the Pies in. With all due respects, the Umpiring was absolutely disgusting. Anna. Congratulations. Lara. Nice to see you back on line mate. GO PIES....hee hee Best wishes to all the sickies, and hope everyone has a great day, whatever your doing. Well, its back to the canvas to add the background to the oil. Wonder if in a 100 years or so....they might find me paintings in an old attic, and i get recognition in the Melb art museum along with the greats???.....and wondering who the signature is at the bottom of the painting ( Tony Oz )...........:>))))))))) Av a good un. Tony Oz..:>)) |

Morning Wattlers Well our weather here in Tassie is a bit like Melb with forecast for next couple of days being for rain. I had hung a load of washing out on the line, then went for my walk, it started with fine rain while I was walking, so a quick call home to get the washing off the line in the backyard and onto the line under the veranda. Hasnt eventuated to much yet, just a pain. Tony thanks (I think) for your kind words lol. I do have to agree with you about the umpiring, but when I say that especially if we loose, I get 'sour grapes' comments as ya do!! I just wish if they have to make bad decisions they are constant about it and make the same bad dexisions for both sides and from one week to the next. I dont know how many times last week we got pinned for holding the ball for barest of time, then last night we saw a couple of times where for instance one players was caught and was turned around about 3 times still holding the ball with no attempt to handpass. OK had my winge, we have got a good run home. Freo, Carlton, Essendon, Kangaroos then Geelong, should win at least 3 of them :-)))) Lew my Nans party is on this weekend. We have got a family only meal tonight at the local pub in Nans town. I think there will be about 30 people there. One of my Aunty's is coming from N.S.W. not sure of the place but its as you would say 'out the back of Bourke' somewhere, also her daughter lives nearer to Sydney, and she will also be there, looking forward to catching up with the ones we havent seen for a long time. Then there is an open home on sundfay afternoon for anyone to visit and I am thinking on going out and giving a hand, plus I will have my ear open to any stories you usually pick up with these type of events thtat I can add to my tree info :-) Well I must go and have a shower, something is not smelling too nice :-( and I think its me pmsl. YIPEE 2 WEEKS :-)))))))))))))))))) Cheers Sue |

Vonny, Shower Power, but if that doesn't work, CLR. I've used both, because the Mudgee town water is full of lime and leaves very bad deposits. Hope that helps Lew Lew xxx |
