I'm in agony!!! Woke up yesterday morning and must have twisted myself funny. Couldnt stand or walk - had to crawl thru to the bathroom. Couldnt get ice skating and am now the worst enemy of my children for it!! I've never experienced anything quite so painful!!! Has eased off slightly today and am finding that sitting on the computer chair - which is obviously designed for keeping a straight back - is helping a little bit with a hot water bottle lodged in place at the sore bit. Ibuprofen to the rescue please!! Jill x (in pain) |

think it is Mandy.....to the left of my spine just below the waist band and yesterday it gave me pains down my legs sometimes if i tried to put weight on it... |

Jojo think the doctor will tell me to take ibuprofen which I'm already doing....its eased off a wee bit today but if its still sore tomorrow then I'll try and get to the docs....havent left the house cos I dont think i'd get down my stairs, never mind back up them!! and wouldnt like to attempt driving......computer chair is keeping me upright and is probably the most comfy I've been since yesterday |

Bec I wish!!!!! I'd rather give birth again than suffer this pain I tell you!!! Least you got gas and air with childbirth!! and something out of it at the end lol No drink for me till I feel better :( |

thanks DM.......makes you really appreciate your back once something like this happens.....so lon as I'm slow I can bend down from the knees as long as I'm holding on to something at the moment....but once its better I will definately take much more care of my back!! Am amazed at how hard it is to be able to do the simplest of things!!! |

Jill Know how you feel. I've had a trapped nerve in my left leg ever since I had my son 11 years ago. Doctor says it was caused by said son lying on my hip joint while I was carrying him. If I do too much it plays up and there are days where I can barely walk and have to use a crutch to get around. I get some funny look cos I only use one occasionally. Joy |
