You'll all be well gone by the time we get there from London then! We don't leave King's Cross till 10!

We get to Darlington at 12.30, then we've got to buy tickets to Boro and get the train to there, plus we were supposed to be stopping off to book in and dump luggage and finding somewhere to eat, then coming on to the meet afterwards. So that means we'll probably get there about 6! LOL

There's a simple answer to that, Mandy. I think my husband's bribed GNER to get shot of me as quickly as possible! He's already said he's coming with me into London to make sure I get on the train! LOL

He can't wait to play his Pet Shop Boys and Phil Collins albums at full volume all day long. I don't mind Pink Floyd so much, but I can do without those. Apart from several stays in hospital, this will be the first time in 31 years that I've gone away and left him at home, so he's got plenty to celebrate. Our son will be here to keep an eye on him though, so he can't go too mad.

The Chilterns lie only a few miles north-west of London and yet they are an unspoilt area of rolling chalk hills, magnificent beechwoods, quiet valleys and charming brick and flint villages. A wonderful mosaic of woods, fields, hedges, sunken lanes and clear streams. that may well entice bendy :o) bryan.
