can anyone come. i may be not from norfolk but the roots of the family tree keeps on drawing me back. I'm from Kent bot both sides of the family goind back is from Norfolk, I'v only ever been there once to look at a church in Sprowston, Iwas told that my GGgrandparents were there, I found them, but most of the dates had been worn away.

I think the Nelson is a good idea as it is so easy to get to. The week of the 7th is fine for me, but I would prefer a Friday or weekend. Please add my name. Frances

Thanks Frances might take you up on that, depending on how my energy levels go in the next few weeks. What about a day during the week or end of week beginning Sunday 7th May? Leave a note of your name if you are interested - will count those already on here, so we can get an idea of numbers please, and which day/date you would prefer assuming that we will meet in Norwich. Will talk to you later re venue Frances, the Hotel Nelson has a big bar area where I met Alan last year, and it does bar meals too. It's situated across the road from the railway station, just a 10/15 minute walk from the city centre - might it prove suitable?

This is beginning to look very promising! Early May sounds good to me. I am happy to help with organising Liz if you need help. I am sure Yvette will be up for it too when she hears about it. Keep nudging this post and I will try to organise something a little later on when the weather is more predictable and the lighter evenings are here. I think probably Norwich is best for most people but we will see how it pans out - maybe early May time? Liz

ooh - I'd be interested as I need to come eback up to Norwich Records Office to fill in teh gaps in my research. If it could be a Saturday that'd be great cos I could do the Friday and Saturday morning at NRO then come and meet you all. If you normally do weekdays I'll try my best to get there Zoe

Don't think there is one arranged at the moment but I was saying to Linda from Norwich that we should arrange one. Maybe we can sort something out once the lighter evenings are here and it is a bit better weather for people to travel. Remind me later Donna and I will see what I can sort out. Maybe people in our area can say where they think would be the most central venue for them. Liz
