Sorry to hear that your grandad is so poorly - it is hard for us to say goodbye to those we love, even if they are better out of the pain they are suffering. I hope if this is his time, he will just fall asleep and find his way peacefully to a better place. Will be thinking of him and you and your family. Can the home not email you so you can take a look at the news quietly before you telephone? You might find that a little easier, or perhaps it is too late to arrange that now. I never knew my grandfathers and only knew one grandmother - I didn't know her well as she lived some distance from us. Take comfort from happy memories of your grandad and be thankful for his presence in your lives. |

thankyou all for you kind thoughts# just phoned the home and he is still holding his own, although he is very poorly (bloody nurses never tell you anything) have been on the phone to family most of the evening we have asked not to be phoned during the night as there is nothing we can do so am phoning the home first thing for update on his condition Bev *praying that the lord takes him peacefully* |
