thankyou all so very much for your lovely replies. mum collapsed yesterday afternoon.she hadnt been ill or anything so it was a huge shock. she is paralysed down her left side,blind in her left eye and unable to speak . im distraught and havent stopped crying. she will be having a scan on monday to see what exactly has happened. love you all so much susie xxx |

Susie, Thinking of you at this depressing time. It is possible that your mother could make a good recovery, so let us hope so. Wonders can be achieved these days when you've had a stroke. Maybe loss of something, but as long as she has a reasonable life after that's ok. It is the shock for you when this happens, so you need to keep your strength up so that you are there for your mother. Thinking of you, God bless. Sylvia xxx |
