Dan that's a positive thing although you may not realise that at the moment. There is so much potential! You can travel, see the world. You've already achieved so much and you're only young - your book is being published! You've got friends here that care about you, with wisdom and experience that perhaps people your own age haven't got yet. (Don't count me - I've never been wise) Have you spoken to a careers advisor yet about possible jobs? As I said before (from memory), it is hard being a teenager - teenagers probably 'think' too much sometimes! (although some-not you- probably don't think at all) Just take each day as it comes. Don't get too worried about the future. Things have a way of turning out ok.

Daniel Report 9 Apr 2006 22:48

Nope. Like I said, no direction. The future is unknown

Another thing I forgot to mention. It's hard being a teenager! Are you going away to Uni if you pass your exams? If so you may find it is different then. There will be different people to mix with.

One of my best friends is in her 50s (I know that I'm a bit older than you). To be honest, she is more on my wavelength than my younger friends ie those in their 30s. It's good to have true friends, no matter what age they are.

Daniel

Daniel Report 9 Apr 2006 22:39

Quite a lot older than me, but the only people on my mind level. People my age I don't seem to click with. I'm not being arrogant, but I feel more mature and I can't get on as well.

Sympathy vote!!! I don't think so. Stuck on sunny Wirral! You should be joyful. Closest friends 50+ women - you should be honoured! Don't have any plans? You're not stuck in a rut and you've got the world as your oyster! You're still young with a best selling book on the way.

Daniel, No Daniel, I went to Vegas. It's easier to find than Cognito. From the comments that you've been making lately, I don't think you're going to live long enough to get wrinkles. Besides, I bet you loved every minute of it! lol Lesley

Only because you're a slippery customer!!

Daniel

Daniel Report 9 Apr 2006 22:12

Close Lesley, did you go to Cognito? I was trapped for a few days but through sexy cunning, managed to escape their wrinkly grasp!
