What appears to happen with the English meets is.....someone announces one then it is up to the individual peep, which they travel to, rather than trying to decide on a place hoping everyone will show. I think the best idea is anyone who wants to set up a meet say where, and when, then if people can go fine. If more than one meet it arranged like the English meets, then it is up to each peep to add to which ever meet they will attend, as no one place will suit everyone, it is impossible. So I would suggest if anyone wants a meet in their area, to announce it, then they can see who will go, no way can we choose one venue to suit everyone, so more than one is ideal as it gives more scope. Just my take on it, cos we seem to be going in circles. XXX |

Why target it just the English? Welsh and irish, even Aussies have had meets. I think Lemon has a thing against us, turned her back on us :-( |

oh shut up Daniel....its a pluddy Scottish meet thread...I think the way the English meets are arranged is better if you read properly instead of sucking cornflakes.....you can't have one venue for the whole of Scotland to suit everyone.tut! |

well said lemon I agree. not been on here for ages so would be interested in seeing where and when this takes place, cannie organise one myself as awaiting the arrival of my grandchild. but would consider meeting if everything goes ok with the baby. !!!!!! |
