Don't support Arsenal and nomally wouldn't be bothered they lost, but I was disappointed they had to play with 10 men. Thought the ref. was unfair and let Barca.get away with murder. Come on now, Arsenal were playing for an English club(no matter how many were in fact English) and how many Spanish were playing for Barca? three I think and don't suppose Spanish fans were too bothered about that fact!! Mau ;0)

Then you dont know me Leigh do you ? I support whatever british club gets through and plays in a different country (unless we are playing them) abroad we cheer on the british team be it spurs, chelsea man u or west ham etc etc We are all gooners in our house, but if it was spurs in a final with another club we want spurs to win. Its the same with any other london club playing at a home final. My dads a lifelong spurs fan, but he supports whatever british club which gets through. Its called sportsmanship. We may joke and jest but both teams do it. some fans take it too seriously and throw their rattles out of their prams at jokes, and im talking about fans from both sides. its sad really .

Arsenal woz robbed, & I would have supported Spurs tonight if they'd been good enough to get through, which they weren't, lol!! But I would have wanted Barcelona to lose, which is the same thing , pmsl ! :0) Joan

Leigh I just answered your question, you diddnt believe me when I said I would cheer on spurs had they played in arsenals place tonight. Thats the truth..its not that hard to believe is it ? Just because I posted jokes doesnt mean I really Hate spurs (rivalry yes..hate no) I dont mind arsenal jokes going up, theres plenty to choose from on my spurs thread...just reverse the clubs. I will still laugh at them..after all they are harmless jokes. lifes too short and I worry more over family issues, terrorism and the state of my health etc than I worry about footie. as said earlier...it IS only a game isnt it ?

No problem, Joan - so long as you're not really Joan of Arc!! You know, whenever I did anything in history (long long ago!) re Joan of Arc it used to give me the shivers, in fact it does even now! I'll be seeing friends of ours from Yorkshire on Saturday and I think I have as many English friends as Scottish ones so I do hope their team does ok - even if we do hear about it for ever....... I'm a Gooner and I was born five minutes walk from Highbury, but I would always support any English team in Europe. Ok, as I said earlier we didn't win, but at least we were in the final. Also we'll be in the cup next year - only three other English teams can say that. AL
