Shirley, we lived on the 'new' estate for about a year, not far from Solars. We lived near a meadow where there was common grazing for cows and signs up asking people to clear up after their dogs! The first night we moved down here we went out for a meal in the pub 'The Magpie' and when the bill came we only had credit/debit cards and they didn't take them so the landlord told us to bring the money in the next day! It was so nice after being in London. We couldn't believe the laid back attitude. Trudi XX

Well as you can tell by the name I am Norfolk born & breed! The hubby comes form Silly Suffolk. He was born in Willingham, grew up in Shadingfield (Beccles Area) All his ancestors come from that area Wrentham, Weston, Uggeshall,Brampton, Sotterley etc. To date I have only found one ancestor who jumped across to Norfolk. I visit as often as we can but it is normally to Graveyards Ang x

Hi Shirley, I think there are quite a few Chenery's scattered around Suffolk, my husband actually comes from Bedfordshire, so don't know if we are connected to the Suffolk Chenery's haven't looked into that side of the family. Sheila

Shirley, Like the idea (although I think the dumpling bit would have to come first) but having grown up with the nickname 'pudding' I think I`ll pass on that!! Frances
