Nice place Southwold. years ago i used to visit my sister inlaws mum, at Newsons Meadow in Lowestoft, and when my brother was in the Police force and stationed in Lowestoft he lived in Park Road. i used to stay with him them, and would walk to Sparrows nest, it used to be very pretty. Shirley Ann.

Hi Shirley, Not born In Suffolk...I was born in Yorkshire as was my dad. But....I have discovered my dad has Suffolk ancestors going back to mid 1500's and who lived in and around Rougham, Hessett area up to 1880s when his branch of the family moved north. It is the Cocksedge clan from Suffolk. We had no idea until I started this family history lark. Jenny

I was born and bred in Suffolk, a true Suffolk Bumpkin. Born in a village called Rattlesden. Lived there till i was 16yrs. then moved to Stowmarket, where i have lived since. well i did move to Bently near ipswich for about 9 months , but then went back to Stowmarket. Shirley Ann.
