Take my word for it Dave, he'd be over there again like a shot! Only problem - surprise surprise - is the Piggy Bank! He lived there for a few years but came home 'cos he couldn't get a permanent job. (Sorry, couldn't resist that bit about youth etc!) x

With a side room for me gwen so I can get to him in the night if he needs me!!!!!

Oh David - we'd have a laugh if nothing else...... they would LOVE you and when i have a tan they think I'm Italian anyway...... once had a young lad (he was 19 if he was a day) follow me around Rome (I was 30 then)!! oh what memories!! non parle Italiano multi bene, parle pocko (sp??) Italiano!! - learn it fast as it works a treat!! Just means i don't speak ilatian very well, i speak a little italian!! BUT pronounced right (which I can) and it gets you treated so so well and they so love the british accent as they hear it so infrequently!! ;O)

David dont want much do you posh hotel just think some of those Italian houses are beautiful and you could always take a servant (pmsl) with you,

How come Sorrento, Capri, Positano and Amalfi haven't figured in your list, David. If they HAD, I might have taken you! Ahhhhhh Italy......the knobbly lemons, the huge fresh garlic bulbs! Pompeii and the ghosts of gladiators! Orlando's bar...(named after the owner's cigarette smoking dancing cat - you have to see it to believe it).....Grappa with ice on a warm evening. Heaven on earth, if you discount the noisy blimmin scooters! Dee x

David, You would love Tuscany, Florence is beautiful, Siena the colours of the buildings are amazing, yes I'll go please. What we need is a charabanc for all those wishing to go too, lol What about passing the hat round for a good cause! Sue

Oh blimey now I've started something! lol Only just done the head count and realised that there's one spare bed. In fact there might be two - it sleeps 13 and I keep losing count! Daisy
