Maureen at the Coast just out of curiosity googled Pear Tree Lane, Leigh. Found a site specifically about Leigh person on there from 31 Pear Tree Lane looking for people. Might be worth a look for any with Leigh ancestors. T.O.R. ;-)) |

hi gloria, i was born in toxteth park or sefton(as it is now) live in angelsey n wales, most of my ansesters came from northern ireland(belfast) and scotland and a few scouse and yorkshire mixed in. oh and some newcastle.xxxxxx |

I too was born and brought up in Liverpool and now live about 8 miles away. Although 'they' now call it Merseyside I still consider I am a Lancashire Lass (rather too old to be called a lass now). No one asked me could they move us out of Lancashire. I have one last comment....They may take Lancashire out of my postal address but they will never take me out of Lancashire. |

Hi, My parents both come from Lancashire - Mother was born in Blackpool and lived in Preston, Father comes from Bolton. I was born on Teesside, but lived in Preston until I was about 4, then moved to Newcastle. Still got loads of rellies in Bolton (Belmont/Bromley Cross), and probably in Preston but haven't started that part of my family tree yet. Caz |

Gaynor, I know Hardhorn quite well, I lived in Staining for 6yrs in my early teens, then to Burnley, then got married and have hopped via various places to Ulnes Walton. So we began near each other, trolled off, and finished up quite close again. Ha ha Gloria :-)))) |
