I'm a born and bred Mancunian, brother still in Manchester, I'm in London now though, moved here almost 19 years ago from the West country, where we spent almost ten years. Since doing my tree, discovered that an awful lot of my rellies actually came from London, born in Shoreditch! And a couple from the West Country too.........didn't know I have been following them around lol! It's amazing really.............went on a fact finding mission long before realising I was going to be looking for any! Jen |

I was born in Bury, lived in Heywood, then in Middleton, then in Chadderton Oldham, so even though I am now living in Stoke on Trent , I would say I am from Lancashire! The people are the salt of the earth! Marie: ) |

Marie....... I lived in Chadderton when I first got married.........married a Chadderton lad.........whereabouts in Chaddy did you live? Used to love shopping on Oldham market.........know Middleton quite well too, used to play in Heaton Park as a child. Jen |

Born in Ulverston, eleven years in Flookborough (Flookborough? eleven miles south of Ulverston), then to Mellor Brook ( ??? 'tween Blackburn & Preston), Preston for four years then 22 yrs military, back to Liverpool (still Lancs) then Skem and finally to Warrington (North of the river). Me Tooth Fairy, i was born in St Helens and have lived in Yorkshire, from the age of 2, i however spent all my childhood weekends schoool holidays etc with my nan in St Helens my accent and my loyality are hay wire. My St Helens family say i am posh, and my S.Yorkshire family say 'can you say that again' as they cannot understand my accent I am well over 40 and still feel loyal to both sides only god knows what our for fathers ae going to make of the white and red roses |

One gt grandmother was b in Liverpool, m in Manchester. But her OH was b in Staffs. But his half sisters were b in Salford, Manchester. Want to know if they have any descendents. Huia who is therefore one eighth Lancastrian. |
