Any room for late comers am originally from penwortham - near preston and i now live in liverpool - which anyone will tell you is really lancashire too! i love being a lancashire lass - then i find out all my ancesters are welsh!!!! jenxx

My grandparents were from Burscough, nr. Ormskirk and as a child, with my family, we always spent our holidays with them. I couldn't get to Southport fast enough - happy memories. Berylx

I was born in Ulverston Lancaashire which is now Cumbria but we still have the LA postcodes. Many of the older generation me included aare proud Laancaastrians! Cazxxx

Hi Gloria I was born in Glazebury,Leigh,Lancashire. In a maternity home that had once been a big,private home before the second World War. I wonder if anybody knows of it's history? I would be very interested to know. I was however brought up in Northumberland from about two years of age. My parents did take the Family back in the fifties,to visit friends, but I cannot remember the place very well. I think we lived in Pear Tree Lane. Is it still there? Mau x :0)
