No no lol.....crumpets here are wee round things with holes in the top, he likes them for breakfast or supper with butter....you toast them. It can mean your sort of crumpet too...but no...he likes his with butter :-)

Lemon, Very confused, Do not know what a crumpet with a hole is...lol.....but can make 'flapjacks' similiar to a pancake, but thicker that you can eat with butter and or jam... ;-))

Lemon, Hubby and sons are Portuguese, I am South African, been together for nearly thirty years... Therefore, I keep a Portuguese kitchen, but also when I get homesick do some real South African cooking, just for me. I have English friends that come over every winter and I try my hand at roast beef and Yorkshire pudding... Cooking, is most likely my only talent, hopeless at baking! ;-)))
