not sure of the first 'record' I ever bought - probably Donny Osmond or The Bay City Rollers! still got all mine and my albums and 12' singles too. got quite a few 78's at mum's as well. the first CD I bought was George Michael's Faith album - still love that one! Maz. XX * waits for Rick to confess to buying the Wombles *

Well, it was like this, I wanted to buy My ding a ling (was that by Ray Stevens??) but the shop had sold out of it, so I got 'I saw you walking down the street' by Jonathan King. (wouldnt buy any of his now!) I bet no else even remembers that song, do they?? Jan

Must desist the vino Dodger lol My sister had 'My People Were Fair And Had Sky In Their Hair But Now They're Content To Wear Stars On Their Brows' and 'Prophets, Seers and Sages, ' and I can't for the life of me remember the other song I used to sing!!!

My first was The Smurfs with Father Abraham but I can't remember the name of the song! I was very young I got it after getting one of those record players in a carry case you got years ago.

First record that was bought for me was ... The Beatles.. an EP with 4 songs on... 'Twist And Shout, A Taste Of Honey, Do You Want To Know A Secret and There's A Place' I was 2 at the time and apparently I used to do the twist whenever I heard 'Twist And Shout' even in Lewis's record department.. how embarrassing. The first record I ever bought myself was ... Slade.. 'Sqeeze Me Pleeze Me'.
