The first record I bought with all my own money was Johnny Remember Me by John Leyton - anyone remember that one? I had others before that, but Mum or Dad paid for most of them with me contributing about sixpence! LOL First record my brother bought was Nut Rocker by B Bumble & the Stingers - now is that sad or what! LOLOL Tina-Marie Mouldy Old Dough was my elder son's favourite record when he was a toddler. Even before he could speak properly, he could say 'Mouldy Old Dough!' Sue xx |

My first must have been a shellac 78rpm bought about 1941 and was probably in the 1941 Jazz series. I probably still have it (though they were easily broken) among six or seven hundred others, including LPs, in my loft. One day I promise myself I will transfer the best to CD. I now have several hundred CDs. They take up far less space. Len |

Sealed with a Kiss ( the Brian Hyland one) Oh sue Johnny Remeber Me loved that one John Leyton wasn't it. Oh and Nut Rocker remember that one . I was having piano lessons at the time had one of the pieces was from the Nutcracker Suite. My teacher kept saying no your timing is all wrong another week. Then she said now I know why you listen to Luxembourg. Follow the music not your ears. ( she was lovely). Love the old 60's music. Germaine x |
