It has mostly subsided now. I got something from the chemist. like a sort of pen, to apply whatever was in it, to the affected area. It has ammonia in it among other things. Thanks for the concern and advice. |

Could be anything Bob, your immune system obviously started reacting, as long as it didn't affect your breathing it's all good. Annoying but good. |

Last night, sitting in the garden with a glass of wine, ( a rather good Australian white), I felt something on my cheek, which I squashed. A minute or two later, my face swelled up on one side, with a hard lump as well. And it throbbed. I didn't feel a sting or bite. This morning it has gone down a bit, and I went to the chemist and got some stuff to put on it, which may or may not be helping. The pharmacist didn't know what caused it either. Any ideas anyone? |
