Joy's proposal seemed more like all MPs should support Mrs May's plans. I am saying the parties should agree on the plans to show a united front, on Brexit affairs only.

I was quite impressed how close the result was to the exit poll prediction.

The final YouGov poll was pretty accurate too.

As for the polls......they were changing almost hourly yesterday...just wait until the vote is counted as I said all along....

Oh Rollo you are a laugh aren't you...it does prove as we said all along you can't trust polls...how many times did the polls change in the last 24 hrs of the election? They do say you get the government you deserve.

Our Conservative MP has been re elected. I don't know if this area has ever been anything else.

I saw one of his posters displayed near a roadside earlier this week.

Across it someone had posted a sticker..... WHO ?

I guess they feel as Nyx does about her area's choice.

I will have to sleep soon or become a zombie.

disappointed, our useless MP just won by 725 votes :-( No UKIP candidate this time, so she picked up enough of their votes.

I'm still up, amazed at the anticipated fall of the SNP.

Yes I'm still up Gwyn :-) hanging on to see the local result if I can, lots of coffee and a nap earlier has helped :-)

Nigel Farrage now saying he might have to come back..................

Apparently the Conservatives will be the largest party with about 314 seats , well short of a majority. SNP are losing about 20 seats.

That is if you trust exit polls. :-)
