my son has arranged all the travel and accommodation to stay with him and my eldest daughter in Guatemala for just over 3 weeks :-D

Haven't seen him for 5 and 1/2 years and my daughter for 3 and 1/2........cannot wait <3

He is arranging trips to all the places I want to see including Mayan ruins, cemeteries (yes there is a reason), Lake Atitlan where we hope to stay for a while. His businesses and, well, everything except his zip wire over the jungle. Although OH has said he will go on that..lolol

So think of two oldies mixing with all the groovy backpackers in the Lodge and the markets. I also want to travel on the legendary chicken bus ;-)

First time there so I am expecting the unexpected..lolol

I have a copy of my scrips so I hopefully won't be looked at as a drug mule! I will set off all the X Ray machines because of hip replacement and wired thigh bone *sighs*.

Be good and I'll see you when I return with a tan you will be jealous of.

I am probably being nosy but I am interested. How did he get to be in Guatemala?

Not even quite sure where it is, have never heard of anybody going there before. How exciting!

He retired at 22, sold his house, went travelling, loved Guatemala and decided that was the place to set up businesses....lolol
