£294,542.34

The water bill came yesterday. Was a little more than usual.
Went out to read the meter, contacted the supplier.
30 minutes later.....sorted :-D

Apparently meter was faulty and the meter reader reported it and a new one was fitted 2 weeks ago.

The D/D for repayment would have been £57K+ per month.

Just after my mother died, Fred was getting more and more worried, he kept everything to himself.

Of course, he had never paid bills himself before and wouldn't trust me to do it. He would pay a bill and it would come back with the amount on the bottom I suppose.Anyway, he thought the amount on the bottom was what he had to pay, so he paid it again. It came back then with twice the amount on it, so he paid that.

The bills were becoming huge but it was all credit.

When he did finally tell me what the problem was I didn't know whether to show him where he had gone wrong or just let him keep going until he owned the company.

It did makes us look a few times Joy.

Some people don't even open bills they just let the direct debit take care of it.

Can you imagine £57K+ a month being taken :-0
