Link available now.

Since our NHS was founded on 5 July 1948, its incredible staff have delivered almost 44 million babies.

Mr Magoo, you were the 2,820,517th baby welcomed into the world by our NHS.

Would have done it if they didn't ask for email and postcode

MR_MAGOO Report 4 Jul 2014 22:28

I only put christian/surname & postcode in.

patchem

patchem Report 4 Jul 2014 23:15

I invented a post code, and did not enter email address.

So information could be wrong as there could be several people with the same first name born on that day.

Bit iffy, just forename needed, and I no longer live where I was born.
Apparently, either me, or someone with my forename born on the same day as me was 5126425th baby born.

My elder brother was, apparently 652,764th baby born to the NHS, then I remembered - he was born in Malta!

But, anything to keep the NHS 'alive' is okay by me :-D

I gave first name & surname, made up a postcode

1,252,402

If they asked for middle names I would know for sure!

Oh I was around a year too soon lol

Actually there is something that says if you were born before 1948 but it's not clear as it's over a picture that obscures the wording.

I don't appear to have been born.

I was born in Scotland, but live in Australia; my Australian postcode (I knew not to try it) wouldn't be acceptable, so I made one up..... I know some places in Lanarkshire begin with ML......

I was born in Glasgow, but never lived there :-D , Mum had to go to the nearest big hospital.

:-)

Jane ~ were you hatched? :-D

is that the postcode for where you lived when you were born? or a current one for where you are now?

patchem

patchem Report 5 Jul 2014 10:33

Presumably a postcode for where you were born, if you want accurate information.

I just did not want to be giving them too much information on who was accessing their system.

If there were 2 John Smith's born on the same day, even with the area of birth without time of birth the number would not be accurate.

No it doesn't like E.17

I was born on Sunday, 4th July - the day before the NHS began. I know I was born in hospital and I know that my mother didn't have to pay for her hospital stay.

Can anyone tell me if this means that I was born on the NHS?

Well Happy BIrthday for yesterday Kathleen.

I was born in hospital in 1947 and I am sure my parents didn't have to pay.

Thank you Liz.

Had a lovely day. Hubby and son took me to Windermere for afternoon tea at Holbeck Ghyll (Michelin starred restaurant) which was gorgeous.

Only trouble was that the views over the lake were spoiled by torrential rain and mist!!
