thank you everyone,
your prayer's have been answered,it is not meningitis,it is a bad infection.
they think she caught it from her 2yr old brother who attend's nursery,as she has not built up her immune system yet she had nothing to fight it with.
she came on quickly this afternoon and started to demand her milk, they are going to see if she can manage oral antibiotic's tonight and if she can she will be allowed home tomorrow,if not she will stay on the drip one's until the course is finished then they will let her home.

thank you to all who sent there love and prayer's.

god I am so relieved she is on the mend.

I will post later today after I speak to my daughter, the test result's should have been back yesterday.
she is in turmoil, she has not been to the hospital as she say's she would fall apart which I fully understand, being a new mum herself.

hopefully I will be posting positive new's..

Sue, I am so very sorry to read this and hope your daughter's s.i.l's baby will find the strength to fight back from meningitis, such a horrible illness and one that seems to be very common still. The doctors can do wonderful things tho so hope she will be one of the lucky ones who will come through unscathed and blossom as Brenda's little gt. granddaughter has done.

It must be heartrending for your daughter to be with her baby and know her s.i.l. can't have the same joy of caring for her baby but hopefully the two little ones will grow up together in the future and be great pals, and all this will be behind them.

Thinking of you and baby and family and best wishes to your daughter and her little one.
