My sister telephoned me to say BIL was due go in for his operation at 9.00 this morning, it was held back due to an emergency, (who identically turned out to be one of their friends who was rushed in with appendicitis)

BIL went into theatre at 3.00 pm and came out at 6.30. The surgeon removed two small tumors, these will have to go for biopsy, he will have a temporary colostomy and depending upon the results possible radio/chemo therapy. That's all the news I have at the moment.
