To send positive thoughts to my wonderful son-in-law Tom.

He has been diagnosed with symptoms of possible heart disease which could prove to be fatal if untreated.

After undergoing several tests over the last few months he will be having another angiogram on Friday to discover if he needs stents in his arteries or a triple heart bypass.

The stress of the loss of his beloved wife, my daughter, has contributed to his condition also the responsibility of taking care of his three daughters after their loss and of trying to run his business has taken a terrible toll on his health.

So please, spare a moment to to send positive thoughts to Tom that all may be well and that he will have a long and happy life that he so much deserves. <3

I have just got home from being with my s.i.l and granddaughters as he drops me off on his way to work at this time because of the unsocial hours he keeps to run his business. That is also part of his ill health because he never gets enough sleep which also takes it toll on his well-being.

He is loved by so many and is generous to a fault, I hope with all my heart that the results of his procedure on Friday will have the very best outcome possible.

Joeva, I do hope things go ok for Tom, he and his family and you have been through so much already, it seems unfair that there are more things to face. I hope your daughter is watching over Tom and will make things work out.

He could have had the angiogram done today but has chosen to leave it until Friday so he has the weekend to recover and as he has said to prepare himself for it.

The cardiologist has told him of the risks of having the procedure but as frightening as it is, he is determined to have it done. A very worrying time for us all.

Positive thoughts for Tom, who must be so worried for his daughters too.

Such great things can be done to help heart problems now, so although cardiologists are bound to warn of risks, there is usually a very successful outcome and patients go on to lead full and meaningful lives.

I do so hope that all will be well.

Just to say thanks again for your kind thoughts and prayers for the health of Tom.


I have spoken to him this morning and he seemed quite chipper compared to how low he felt yesterday. In fact he was more concerned about me than himself,as I had slipped on the wet conservatory floor when I was with them yesterday. Twisted my ankle with a couple of bruises nothing too bad fortunately.

He is a lovely caring person and is always thinking of others and their needs before his own.
