Island, it went during yesterday afternoon. Hayley put up a thread about it, as Prickles Babes, had PM'd him telling him how to get back to his thread. Perhaps Hayley took it off, last night. I posted on it, not that that would make her take it off. LOLOL

GoldenGirl1
There was a thread on this baord, yesterday morning. It was from a man, asking if anyone knew him. I think he was making a foray into finding his ancestors. Many of us answered him, welcoming him to the boards. Prickles sent him a OM to tell him how to get back to his thread, and which boards to post on. In the afternoon, it went from the boards, and Hayley put up a thread, asking where it had gone.

Take Care

I am doing fine at the moment, thank you GoldenGirl1. I too miss things in the night, because I clock off about 6.30. for the evening meal, and a night with the telly.
Hope you are keeping well, also.

Emma, Julia guessed right, I didn't like to name anyone but so many people were really welcoming and helpful I'd wondered if the OP had acknowledged or just deleted :-S I hope he wasn't ticked off by someone

Hi Suzanne
Julia summed it up at 12:49, sorry I'm a bit tired.
Not terribly interesting but a bit odd as everyone was so friendly and helpful.
Maybe I should delete? or will that cause another 'were did that go threads' LOL

As I said on Hayley's thread, the original poster probably clicked delete on his opening post because he had been advised that there was personal info on it which should be removed. Being a newby, he wouldn't have realised that this would delete the whole thread. He should have edited out his personal info, but I wouldn't have known that when I was a newby. I also said that I hoped he'd seen our friendly messages before he deleted (in error, imo.)

Never mind, I reckon our Prickles with her Captain Sensible hat on has been helping him on the side ;-)
