it must be the last vestiges of the menopause, but as well as being hot enough to bake potatoes on, my tolerance levels are at an all time low...

from the bank who keep on phoning 3 days in a row to ask if I have paid the card ( I have...oh yes they say I can see that would you like to set up a direct debit? no ...3 times.. I was actually quite 'short' with them and that is not like me.

to the chuggers who keep knocking at my door, different charities but if I could give to all of them I would already be doing so...I just stopped today's in full flow and said "no I can't"

to just people doing or saying thoughtless things so that I would like to shake them ....

phew that's better... any good home remedies for the above lol ?

Oh dear Teresa, I have done that myself, though it's only a small freezer and not much to spoil, hope you managed to save most of it.

lol Muffy, I shouldn't complain because it hasn't been in the least bad physically, apart from the heat which keeps me awake.

I found that once the dreaded menopause was over, tolerance set in, and I'm far more laid back now. Still irritating, but I always was LOL

It does get better ladies. But then I was in the era when they gave out HRT like sweets Lol. It was good too, worked for me, well it did for 9 years until I got a small benign cyst and came off it. But, believe it ornot (and I didn't beliee my Mum when she told me). I still occasionally get a flush at night. Very occasionally, when I throw off all the bed clothes. I'm sure that we oldies have hormone problems they haven't found out about yet. or is that just an excuse for normal irritablility?

RamblingRose,
If you find any good remedies, let us know please, I find the night sweats the worse, but my tolerance levels are zero at the moment.
