I collect donkeys, from Beswick down to Shrek with or without carts but have run out of shelf space so no more. Also collect real ones, have three at the moment all rescued from unsuitable homes.

Seeing as no one has offered me any diamonds, apart from Merlin with his offer of a quick half of lager.

I also have quite a few perfume bottles. Mostly ones I have used, some of the bottles are very pretty, unusual shapes.

The Jean Paul Gautier torso bottles come with a new costume each year, so I have quite a few headless bodies on my shelf.

:-D

Got suitcases of beanie babies and bears plus the little ones you got at McD****** . Not worth a penny now !!!!

My main collection is victorian photo albums .Just can't help myself .At least they should hold their value as they are getting more difficult to find .

I collect Portmeirion pottery and tableware that I use daily.
My downfall are books, especially those about London or specific favoured authors.

I used to collect little boxes and tins and china roses e.g. flower baskets, posies etc. I only have a handful of each these days.

I did start collectin pocket dragons but have now sold most of them. Still got a few to sell if anyone is interested. PM ifyou are.

Mostly I am addicted to books and cross stitch/ embroidery kits or designs. Even OH has a couple of jobs on the go. We must have well over £1000 of stuff including books. I wish I could get rid of some, but I can't get rid of gifts.

I collect royal memorabilia and proud of it.

By the way Sharron, I agree - too many books as well, though mainly history ones. My mum's fond of collecting cookery books too (also called Sharon!)

I tried that with my £50 note appeal Mo'Gal :-)
They're a right mercenary bunch though! :-0

Diamonds dahling diamonds. After all they are a gels best friend.

Preferable the pure white ones, not too keen on the black or yellow.

Saying that, if anyone wants to sling one my way, I wouldn't say no.

Oh I collect coins Rita *rattles piggy bank*

I put a stop to 'collecting' because as sure as eggs is eggs you end up with a home full of dust collectors by way of birthday and christmas presents and not neccessarily to ones taste but merely because one might have two of something or admire something and before you know it you have a guilty trip to the charity shop. :-0

edit. I do not collect eggs :-( :-D
