Thanks everyone..keep em coming..we're all debating them as they come through on here and FB.

K...you did make me laugh as I was looking at the most popular names for female Schnauzers and Muffy was right in there lol...Heidi was up there as well Mau lol

So far I like...Harper (after Harper Lee who wrote my fav book To Kill A Mockingbird...my old lady collie was called Scout so it ties them together a bit)

Enid/Elsie....cos I think she looks a bit like those names)

Matilda (not to be shortened to Tilly as I've had a Tilly but if shortened Tilda or Matty) but I'm guessing i'll be outvoted on all of them *sighs* so I need as many as poss !!! x

No I know what it is...same as I know who Stephen Harper is...just don't watch it or have an interest in it lol.

Geordie footballers are ok for me Joy..it was the other North London lot that I couldn't cope with !!! :-D :-D

Non-Canadians generally don't get the song, although it was written ostensibly for a USAmerican audience.
