Do they care about their members -short answer is no not at all

Genes have now (after the event) put a message on the Announcements Board saying some strange things may happen in the next half hour or so!!

I agree Glitter Baby. I would rather the site went down for a few hours while they sort things out properly - AFTER letting us know what they intend to do.

I'm really considering not renewing after all these years as I'm not actually doing any research of my own these days - but they make it harder and harder to help others!!

Tips are under "Genealogy Chat" but I don't know where Records and Trying to Find have gone.

I really wish they would let members know BEFORE changing things. I don't know why people need to know how long you have been a member and how many posts you have made. It would be better to say when you last logged on - which I can't see anywhere.

Is this an improvement or another error on the boards?

I have just asked this on their page on facebook, asked them to clarify what has been done and to post in the announcements board about it.
Tips board, I have discovered, by looking at my threads, is now called genealogy chat which, in my opinion, is ludicrous. I have yet to find the records board. Back later.

All of a sudden nothing is the same

GR have put new options such as games on the lefthand side
But where is Tips, Records ??
