Jan won't be there this morning, Joyce has to ring the doc herself, Jan will take her to the docs on Tuesday for her diabetis blood test, that's when he will tell doc about this condition. Lets hope the doc will listen because Joyce doesn't sound like she can go on much longer like this. I can't understand why he hasn't done any tests before this, anyway she might ring me after she has rung doctor.

Please don't shoot me, I am only the messenger. Joyce rang her doctor only to be told he is closed until after the weekend, why did he tell her to ring him on Friday?
At least she is starting to eat a little even though it is only a couple of spoonfuls of soup.

I'm lost for words now.

I agree with Jude----it is a disgrace. I think that Jan should complain to the Health Authority or whatever they call it in Holland about that doctor.

Well at least Joyce is starting to eat a something, if not very much, it's a start.

I know we have some problems in this country with different Health Authorities, but we are a lot better off than the Dutch, by the look of it.

Caz, thinking of you too, and hoping that you day hasn't been too bad.

I'll look in again tomorrow.

Love and best wishes to both Joyce and Caz.

I said that the other day, Sallie, at least we don't get treated as badly as Joyce has over the last months, she has been getting worse and no one there seems to bother, what a rubbish doctor. It wasn't so long ago that he went on holiday for a week or something, how can that be right if he leaves the surgery unmanned?

Hope things improve soon for you Joyce, and glad you are managing to eat a little.

Hoping o.h. will go back to work on Monday so will text you and let you know so we can have a chat if you are feeling up to it.

love and hugs to you and to Caz,

Hope that Joyce is feeling better and that she is able to eat a bit more today.

Caz, also hoping that things are a bit easier for you today.

Love and best wishes to both Joyce and Caz.

I've only just seen this, I was away all last week ...... although I had gathered over the last few days that Dutch had been very ill, and absent from the boards.

I do so hope that you are feeling better, and that the doc(s) have sorted you out!

take care

Sorry Jean and everyone, I was in a lot of pain last week and didn't feel well at all so didn't post on thread. It should have entered my head you would be wondering about Joyce but it didn't, I was more concerned about trying to look after myself, sorry it wasn't deliberate.
