hi my daughter is due tomorrow,but doesnt look like her little girl wants to move,someone told her to eat pineapple,so her partner went out and bought one,she ate all of it(she hates pineapple)but nothing happend,shes really big now and really fed up,any tips?xx

I once heard drink caster oil!!

But wouldn``t like to try it myself ,but i think it goes through you like a dose of salts, and can start contractions...a bit the same as the hot curry!!

Mine were 10 days late
14 days late and
24 days late...with this one i was 2 days of a ceasarian after having been induced 7 times!

Hope your daughters not to fed up, and little grand daughter makes her appearance soon.

My first grandchild is due in just over 5 weeks...

An off-road drive in a landrover - worked for me. All three of mine were a couple of weeks early - yippee!

First was a week late. Second was 2 weeks early thanks to chasing an unruly two and a half year old (the first) up the road!!!

My daughter is due in 5 weeks.Since she found out she was pregnant she has swam 3 times a week.She is up to 16 lenghts of a 25 metre pool.I dont think it will help her to be early but have been told it will be a quicker labour? Hope you are a grannie any day now. Annie

hi grannie.yes my daughter also keeps her self active through swimming and walking and she worked full time until her 32nd wk,but her baby is big and very heavy and my daughter has terrible swollen ankles and is finding it difficult in this hot weather,she just wants it over now.x

yes i do really feel for her,its also my daughters first one and although she and her partner are over 21 they are both frightened and wont it over now.x

years ago, we and our next door neighbours used to share car driving shopping trips.............one friday evening in a well loaded Austin 1100 we hit a bit of a bump in the road.................. next door neighbour gave birth the next day!!

done the bumps 5 times and the pineapple twice(and she hates pineapple)have not done the caster oil,but have done the vindaloo,almonds and raspberry tea nothing! having her second sweep tomorrow,hopefully that will start the ball rolling,but i wont hold my breath,inducing on fri,maybe baby by the weekend.x
