It is another beautiful morning now the mist has cleared.Chris has just gone off in my car with the lawn mower.It won't fit in his car.More washing nearly ready to go out on the line

Must fixed a mistake I made yesterday. I was told last night by family to get my facts straight. SIL working for The Ro*al Ba*nk of Sco*land, big difference having the name Royal in the title, lol

lovely day here sun is shining and it's very mild. getting a few household jobs done this morning and then daughter no 1 & Sofia will be down for lunch, daughter has to go into work this afternoon to do a couple of hours training some new system or other so there's just Sofia & I till about 3. O'clock when we are going down to the bank to put in the last of the cheques from my dad's estate, so it's all sorted out.

Daughter no 1 will pick us up in town and bring me home , good job as it's all up hill from the town and it would be not be good for my back to push the buggy up. I remember doing it many years ago with daughter no 2 it was hard work then but I was much younger and fitter.

Lovely and sunny again ,got all the doors and windows open ,and the birds are singing away outside .

Mel, i've got Lemon Balm, Lemon Thyme and Rosemary to go in the pot ,i hope they are alright together , i want to walk up to the florist's and see if i can buy a piece of Cellophane to wrap round it .
Hope you had some luck finding the key , and that you don't get to black from the ashes !!!!

Jane, i hope you get some relief from the tooth pain after visiting the dentist this afternnoon, what a bit of luck taking Oh's appointment ,saves you waiting for another for yourself.

I sat here a while ago and thought what ever is that noise outside , went to the door and realised it was coming from some little windmills that the little ones had put in one of my plant pots ,what i could hear was the sails spinning round .

Didn't do any work yesterday, but Ros got me into town. Got new tyres on the car, (MORE EXPENCE) onto garden centre to replace a few things the frost and snow killed off. Red Robin, Palms. and something else very big (MORE EXPENCE). Lunch at 4.pm !!!! after we had tramped around other places she wanted to go. includeing getting a broken nail sorted out.
Did Tesc# on the way home, got here about 5.30pm. KNACKERED

Ros went off with a friend this morning both got to have Mamograms one this morning the other this afternoon.

I have been busy in the kitchen. Made a steak and Kidney pudding, Have cooked jaket potato's cleaned out the skins. Mixed Potato with three egg yokes, horseraddish, and double cream, salt and pepper, Refilled the skins, will need out 20/30 minutes in oven to brown up, Doing fresh sprouting Broccoli to go with it. It's (the pudding) been on for 3 hours now just simmering away, should be great about 5.30pm for dinner. Looks like there will be loads over. Any body fancy a bit ????

Come on BABY to could end up here ,on APRIL the first. and that will never do. !!!!

My typing is getting bad, have to keep going back to try to correct. !!!!

Raked through the ash pile and had a magnet on a string. No luck. I did'nt want to sieve it as I washed my hair last night!! Think I may have to though.

Done three lots of washing and some ironing and just stripped the bed so now have to make that up again. I do it in stages as I get puffed out. It is'nt easy when you are only 5 foot 2" and it's a king size bed and quilt cover etc.

Still lovely sunshine here and first lot of washing dry enough to iron.

Another glorious day today and we have spent most of the day in the garden. Afraid that I cannot do very much but I am thr gofer and make lots of drinks.A very large bee has just flown by and disappeared into the snug, will have to find it and return to garden!!

Back again mission accomplished. I think it must have been a queen as it was enormous.
I hope poor Jane has been successful at the dentist.and Fiona has enjoyed her afternoon with her grand daughter.
Mel I have managed to get all of my washing dried today outside so that just leaves the ironing!!
Must start thinking of tea, Franks meal sounds so naughty but so nice. Hubby will be starving after another day of digging so I had better find something.

I have a feeling that OH said he did'nt like the key fob that was on it and would I find a new one and he purt it on the room divider where he got the key from to give to our friend!!

Anne you have had a good day then. I have not been in the garden apart from the raking. I have sheep sh*t pie on the go for tonights dinner as I picked tons of broccoli from the tunnel and thought that would go well with it.

When the sun shines it makes you want to do things.

Oh Poo! I have a root infection.One week of antibiotics and go back in 10 to see what the xrays shows up.It is a crowned tooth with a peg/post.I think the dentist says as it is a very old one he will probably have to do some excavations !!!!.I said I would rather keep it as it is please.But he said I will probably keep getting more infections,maybe soon or maybe not for a long time.
I suddenly thought when I was there I hadn't got the dinner in the slow cooker ,so hared home and got it in like Speedy Gonzales lol.It is Macaroni in a Stilton and bacon sauce.Makes a change from the smoked haddock.Mind you we haven't had this one yet so fingers crossed.So now I can relax .I think I will watch Come Dine With Me now.

Frank ,it depends what you are offering lol.Is it just dinner ????

Anne your poor DIL must be just about at the end of her tether now !!!.Is she still keeping well?

Another beautiful day, must make the most of it, it can't last can it.

You must be home from your visit to the dentist Jane, hope it wasn't too painful.

I'm the gofer too Anne, whenever my son is doing anything I have to run around for things, I never complain though, goodness knows how much he has saved me, plumbers bills, electricians bills, etc.

I need to work double hard on the old cross trainer, have been a bit naughty lately, been out twice in one week for meals and of course you can't go out and have a meal without a few glasses of wine !!!!!

Maureen I think you can allow yourself to be a little bit naughty.You have done so well .I just wish I had your willpower.Says me sat here with a glass of wine lol.
Mel did you ever cut your hair? You were wondering a few weeks back about having a trim lol.

Found some fish for tea and had blancmange for pud. I found a packet whilst shopping yesterday and its years and years since we have had it. Ate it with pears and yoghurt and we both enjoyed it.
Our weather is going to change tomorrow. It is supposed to get much colder. Lets hope they are wrong.
DIL saw midwife today and BP ok. She has to go back to drop in clinic on Sunday to make sure all is well.This is her due date ( so much for not going full term) She seems much better than she was 2 weeks ago.
Jane Sorry to hear about your tooth problems but at least you now have the antibiotics.

Before she retired she often walked to work if I was on the opposite shift.
On arrival for a shift change over she would strip and make 36 beds.

Anne, you are busy getting your garden dug. I bought some rocket seeds today and some seeds for the long beetroot which I haven't tried before. We gave the garden a rest today as we are both shattered.

I saw a peacock butterfly this morning feeding on a grape hyacinth. The bees are still hovering around the same spot they were yesterday, so I definately suspect a nest. Luckily it isn't close to where we are working.

I hope the antibiotics start clearing the root infection soon Jane. At least it won't hurt then. Dentists use horrid words sometimes don't they!! Excavations!!! lol

Maureen, now you've lost weight a few digressions shouldn't make too much difference. All that work on the crosstrainer will have speeded up your metabolism. I can understand you wanting to make sure though!!! It is so hard to lose it once it's there!! lol

Tired after my days work today. Dinner was smashing though and the broccoli delish. No sprays on that and I know just how it was grown.

Had dinner a bit earlier today.

There is a new series on the telly tonight I want to see and I think it is on at 9pm.
