I didn't actually LIKE Ovaltine. I have never liked milky drinks but I made my Ovaltine last as long as possible as, as soon as it was gone I had to go to bed!

We didn't have those in Oz - but we did have Bill and Ben! Back in the sixties, we were still 'way behind the rest of the world and were just starting to go ahead by leaps and bounds. Now, we are proud of ourselves!

As for you poor 'oldies'! You're babies!

Tecwyn, i don't remember Uncle Mac, but my brother does and I have an Uncle Mac book of his :)

I particularly liked episodes of Bill and Ben where they went into the barn (with the hen) :) and the little house at the beginning and end of episodes :)

We are the Ovaltinees; happy girls and boys...

I had a bakerlite mug with a funny face on it; an Ovaltine mug mum got from somewhere. It got melted, left it too near the fire or cooker.
