₪ TeresaW elite empress of deleted threads&# Report 16 Jul 2009 16:24

According to the emails the thread owners have all received, each thread was reported.

So we can only assume that it is done to cause trouble. Uzzi's thread had nothing whatsoever untoward on it, just her poem, and lots of hugs and best wishes. But it was reported anyway....

There have been others that have gone the same way.

So as I said, it can only be because someone wants to cause problems, especially since the boards have been nicely settled in the last few weeks.

So that brings me back to my original theory which is on another thread somewhere.

Teresa, I did not see the memorial thread so I don't now if anything untoward was put on there. But, as we all now sometimes gr do delete harmless pots as weve all seen in the past, it does happen . Maybe the disaster thread went that way to but I doubt it, I think someone prob contacted gr about that

Think what you like on that point, you're going to anyway no matter what anyone else might say.

However, perhaps you would like to give your viewpoint on all the other threads that have also been deleted this week?

I will say this though. GR did not delete because they AGREED. You give them far too much credit. They deleted because they were reported. Some of the threads, such as Uzzi's memorial to her late father, was deleted because someone reported it. Clearly GR staff did not bother to read the thread to check the report was a valid one.

Funny Rumple how you are usually about in the aftermath of one of Mel's hissy fits....helping her play the smallest violin in the world when she's trying to garner sympathy for the anger her outbursts produce...

and yet you aren't about to pull HER up on her outrageous behaviour and rudeness while she's doing it.

None so blind.........

Why oh why is Mel's name being brought into this ?

I for one diddnt give Mel a second thought when I read this thread. I doubt many others did either.

Can we not go a day or two without peoples threads being turned around by people to give Mel attention again and to start another row with her being centre stage ??

As for Lynda's thread, it was tongue in cheek, people were having a laugh, being silly and lightening up, forgetting their own less publicised troubles for a while.

Fair enough if people post constant negative miserable threads, but dont stop others from raising a smile because you are wallowing in misery, as you dont know what pain or anguish lies behind those smiles.

firstly I'm not Kim......(but that was bound to come up at some point ; disagree with a view and get accused of being someone u don't like, is becomming boringly familiar around here)
Mel was taken ill and rushed to hospital as I understand it, so it was a disaster for her and her family. Then threads pop up on here asking what disasters you are having at the mo. A child could see through that!
All of u that took part in that thread new what u were doing and as I said before somone reported it and gr AGREED with em!

So my ironing curtains, falling through the window and getting stuck in a tree, hooking my laptop up with a branch so I could tell everyone was a p*** take of Mel was it?

OKKKKKK......

No Kim, it wasn't. I don't care enough about Mel to take the **** out of her. Not everything is about Mel. But if I was, I would do it in a far more blatant way.

BUT.....by suggesting it was, are you also suggesting it has been Mel all along doing all the reporting?

*rumplestiltskin

*rumplestiltskin Report 16 Jul 2009 15:48

No one is saying Teresa that u cant have a laugh on here. But the threads were put up very quickly after Mels incident anyone could see straight off that it was a p take at Mels expense
No matter how much denial that it was not anything to do with Mel is rubbish, contary to what you and others think, some people can see through this smoke screen, hence someone reported it and gr agreed.

It's just come to my attention that there are rumours that those who have had threads deleted are doing it themselves.

How flippin' ridiculous is that?

No, the threads actually have been deleted by GR, because they were reported. GR do NOT just delete threads willy nilly, but they DO send out emails to notify you your thread has been reported.

Clearly this is something that the gang of two would do themselves, in fact, HAVE done themselves many a time, and they are judging people by their own standards.

Think what you like, I have the guts to stand by what I say and leave it there....if this thread goes, it will NOT be because I deleted.

Lynda, I used the word 'obviously' because it was obvious to some that I was not happy, not because I set myself up to be a judge of your thread. I explained that it was a personal thing, that I thought some people might be put off asking for support which was why I was not happy with it. But i would not have reported it and didn't so don't pick on me. this is a forum where we all have our opinions, you certainly have yours and I am allowed to have mine. No way did me criticizing your thread on my thread affect your thread.

what about the blokey in dusseldorf, was trying to repair a airbed, with some car tyre solvent ........left it over night and presumably he has a electric inflating pump.......which allegedly sparked, and blew the wall out of the flat injuring himself, a three year old and likely the flat will need structural repairs........

what does in usually say on this type of repair kit?

USE IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA!!
