I'll agree with that jgee, but I really believe it depends on who is on duty at the time...

Rumpled, maybe some people ought to get a sense of humour and stop thinking that everything anyone posts is about them.

Jen, your words were what was being discussed, not the smilies on the end. They make no difference to what was said, and I was only trying to clarify the situation, before it went into 'no I didn't, yes you did' type argument.

Uzzi, I agree with that wholeheartedly. I can name quite a few which are there for no other reason than to mock others, and they were not removed until they degenerated into foul language.

jgee I agree that it doesn't always happen that they remove the thread but I think weekends they must have an automatic reaction to the RR button.

will have to try it :-)))))

UzziAndHerDogs Report 16 Jul 2009 17:05

Rumple I have seen many threads on here mocking people in their own inane way that haven't been removed by GR.

The threads this last few days have been reported because others have felt the need too. End off okay that is your perogative.

UzziAndHerDogs Report 16 Jul 2009 17:02

at least Jen you were told that your thread was going to be reported, and why.

believe me that you did not say a few had you put that then I wouldn't not have needed to waste the effort in replying about it.
As said I accept that you probably did forget about dads thread and had no intention of including that amongst them. Don't worry Jen it's over with whooshed to cyber party.

I think most of you are doing it yourselves

Jenxx

Jenxx Report 16 Jul 2009 16:57

Yes because, as I have already said, it was that which prompted me to put this thread up. But clearly by the title and the first line, neither of which mention Lynda's thread, it is in general and Lynda's thread was at the time the latest to be deleted.

UzziAndHerDogs Report 16 Jul 2009 16:50

Rumple I think you had an answer to Lynda's thread, she has said it was not in direct action to Mels hospital thread

Jen as Muffy said you said most and as 1 person who kicked off about having a thread removed this weekend, I thought I would answer ......like a lot of people I can get jumpy if I think it may be aimed at me !!! Even though I take your word it wasn't Thanks

edit to say Rumple I did get an answer from GR they told me it had been removed.

This thread isn't JUST about Lynda's thread, though it was her threads being deleted this morning that prompted me to put it up.

I am talking about all the ridiculous deletions during the last week or so.

Ok I have sat and watched these boards on and off during the day.

Rumple and Jen
I did not delete my memorial thread to my Dad it was deleted for me, if anything went on untoward on that thread then I am even more disgusted at people then I would be for the reporting of it.
I do believe it was reported to get a reaction out of me and before you go standing in Mels corner shouting it wasn't her I knew it wasn't nor have I blamed her.
I am certainly not in the habit of deleting threads for attention believe me I can throw major paddies if I want attention. ( Patrick ain't happy about it ! )
Now I am not sure of timing here but wasn't the disaster thread the same night ? I do lose track of days in this heat :-) If so how come you saw Mels thread Lyndas thread and didn't notice mine ? Most of us read the threads even if we decide to ignore them.
Not that you have to read my threads no doubt under different disguises we have had difference of opinions. That is life.

"But the threads were put up very quickly after Mels incident anyone could see straight off that it was a p take at Mels expense"

No, I certainly diddnt put two and two together to make five. I never associated the thread with mel at all. The world does not revolve around Mel, and to her angst neither does the threads.

However now that you mention it, there is a pattern where Mel causes a huge row on here, and then something happens to her or someone else connected to her the next day, or a couple of days later. it sure looks like after the fire has burned out shes desperate to get people on side with their sympathy.

Im sure Im not the only one who's noticed this ?
