Nothing exciting Linda - I have some volunteer work to do from home and grocery shopping. It's all go here :-D

You are lucky to have such a supportive neighbour. Someone who takes in dogs to prepare them for new homes must be a caring person.

Amanda - I worry that the man will become physically aggressive. At the moment he is a dreadful nuisance but if he doesn't get too much of a reaction he may go further.

Good morning to you Sue :-D

Tec , you neighbours sounds like a lovely lady , it is so good to know that she looks in on you every day , bless her heart .

Maybe he thinks you don't have the money to take legal action against him.

Hello Tecwyn :-) I do hope you don't try Lindas OHs idea of getting into your wheelie bin :-0 We invested in a shredder this year , now I wish we had bought one years ago , they are amazing machines .

Regarding the allotments questions . The land used to council owned but they sold it to our allotment association back in 1993 , so our association are the landowners , hence my reasoning that they need to go for an injunction . He obviously is not going to give in and walk away . As for having " no pride " , I believe he is a " law unto himself " and or a psycopath :-|

Good Morning Sue,

I do indeed have a lovely neighbour. She has been very supportive throughout, and did a lot to help us before it all happened in January.

I remember that last Christmas she noticed that we hadn't put the Christmas tree up. This was because I was not well enough to do it.
So she came in and demanded to know where it was, and set about putting it up, dressed it with baubles and light.

I thought that was so kind.
She also comes for coffee every morning, and that means a lot as I don't see anyone unless I go out - means a lot, and I'm a lucky man.

Good morning Sue, have you anything wildly exciting planned for today

Hello everyone :-)

How awful Amanda - this man is out to cause as much trouble as possible. Why doesn't he just go away? Take care - he sounds like a lunatic.

What a lovely neighbour you have Tec.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 10 Nov 2014 21:38

Gosh - if you accidently shut the lid on him while he's in there he could be taken away by the Council :-D

When our garden bin is full OH climbs in and stamps it down so he can get even more in

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 10 Nov 2014 21:33

Those bags are very useful for that.

I now have mounds of hedge cuttings lying where they fell at the moment, but I thought that when I've finished cutting I can go along picking it all up with my grabber stick.
I can get rid of it slowly in the Council garden refuse bin.
Surprising how much you can ram into those :-D

It is amazing just how much wood hedges produce when they are cut back.
OH has some of the huge delivery bags which are left from when we buy the ton of gravel to top up the drive. They are designed to be moved by fork lifts,or the crane on the delivery wagon. They can only be used once, but one of them fills the back of the car, so we can take the tree cuttings to the tip

That's what I thought. It was a grey overcast day, although threatening rain, it didn't arrive till after dark.
It wasn't cold, and I thought I wouldn't get many chances like today.
It will either be too cold, or too wet, to be out there.
I do have a few other less urgent jobs to attend to outside.

I have reduced the hedge by about three feet. It wasn't seen to last Autumn so went beserk this summer, as you may have noticed.
I have to cut into the wood with a tree lopper to reach from the wheelchair, so it is a slow process.

It is a good idea to get outside while you can, before the winter arrives

Hello Linda,

I haven't started on getting the clothes back in the wardrobes yet.
That could start tomorrow.
I had some other tidying up to do today, and as it was dry here I spent a couple of hours in the garden hacking away at the hedge again. One more short session should finish it.

My neighbour Sue is coming in tomorrow to shampoo the carpet, which is relatively new, and good quality, so doesn't need replacing, just cleaning especially in the traffic areas.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 10 Nov 2014 21:06

If it is council land, they will have all the legal people on hand which would make it easier

Did you get your clothes back in the wardrobes Tec

Tecwyn Report 10 Nov 2014 21:00

Oh Amanda, what a mess :-0

Who would believe that this silly man still won't go away? has he no pride whatsoever?
It is probably a good idea to obtain a court injunction forbidding him from entering the site.
I don't understand all the legalities of surrounding that.

As Linda said, who actually own the land?
Are the allotments rented from a private land owner, or the local Council.
Because if he has been banned from the site, and his membership taken from him, then I would think he is trespassing on the owners land, which is indeed a civil matter between him and the land owner.
Has the land owner, be it private or Council, been made aware of the situation?

How awful, that a group of people who simply want to grow a few vegetables etc, should become embroiled in this ridiculous situation.

I hope that it is resolved soon.

Pleased to hear that your daughters are blossoming beautifully. :-D

Tec :-)

Hello Linda , it seems to me that the Law is an Ass ! Aparently there is very little one can do about the issue of trespass , the police say it is a " civil matter " and won't get involved :-P I am going to attempt to push the upper management into getting a court order ( injunction ) against him , then it would be a criminal matter if he entered the site . You couldn't make this cr*p up !! lol
I've got a petition printed out in the hopes of getting a mass of plot holders signitures , demanding the management get this to court . I believe it is the only way now .

On happier matters , my daughters are both getting rounder every day :-D I'm knitting baby cardigan number three , I'm pleased with my efforts , even though none of them have buttons , as I can't do button holes .......lol

Oh dear Amanda,

I hope your general secretary will contact your solicitor immediately, The problem is that legal costs can be quite high, but a solicitors letter shouldn't be too bad if the cost is shared. He will just be blustering because if he had sought legal advice he would be brandishing solicitors letters at you.

Who owns the land? as he isn't a member and has been told to leave, then he must be trespassing, so can't the police tell him to leave

Amanda2003

Amanda2003 Report 9 Nov 2014 23:44

I just thought I'd pop by and say a quick " hello " .

The news from the allotment is not good :-( To our complete disbelief the evicted nightmare returned yesterday morning ! I think he had bought a police man with him ? so he could collect his tools ( which he had already taken away as there where none there last Saturday when we all went onto the plot to baracade the parking area with old pallets ) , anyway , he told the police he was only there to get tools and wouldn't come back ( it's in the hands of his solicitor blar blar blar ) , lo and behold , he reappeared a short while later and began hoeing the plot !!!! Quite a few of us packed up and left as we lost heart and couldn't tollerate seeing his figure in the distance :-| OH and I checked back in the late afternoon , it had stacked all the strewn pallets up neatly , so it can park easily again , we heaved them all back so as to cause him as much bother as possiable . Today they where again stacked and tied up with wire ( as a deterant ) , we have again flung them about all over the parking place and noticed that someone else has ripped down his silly " under legal dispute " sign :-( :-0 :-| :-P We are waiting for our useless General secetery to get in touch with the solicitor ( which is what he was supposed to do in the first place !!! ).
I am SO angry :-|

Hope everyone is ticking along alright x
