I am glad that you are safe Tec. It was OK here until this afternoon when it started to rain, but nothing like you had

The internet was dreadful around tea time, but has settled down at the moment

I hope that you can get your internet sorted out Linda - how aggravating it must be.

Went to see the Duchess this afternoon. She was fine, a little tearful when I left. I will go back on Sunday.
The wind was horrific, and blowing at 70mph.
The home is just along from the promenade so the car park was taking the full brunt of the wind.
I got half way across the car park and very nearly got blown over. I had to stand still afraid to move, putting my crutches behind me as a prop, and head down into the wind.
Fortunately, two of the staff in the home saw me and came out to get me, taking one each side till I got to the door.
Coming out was the same, and they came with me till I reached the car, and they had to fight to get the car door open against the wind.

There will be no leaf's left on the trees now :-D

Goodnight Tec <3

Not much Linda - we've had a busy week with volunteer stuff so we thought we would have a quiet day before picking the children up. My daughter isn't working late this evening so we should be home early.

Goodnight Tec, sleep well and keep warm

What are you up to today Sue?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 12 Nov 2014 22:59

If the weather is very bad it would be silly to go out in it.
The Duchess is safe where she is, so another day won't make any difference.

She never remembers when I've been anyway, but I do like to go.

Well I'm off to bed now,

Enjoy your day Sue - hope the sun shines.
Sleep well Linda - I will research those sites, thanks,

Goodnight,
Tec :-)

He was careful Linda - thank you.

Perhaps if the weather is very bad you would be better staying in, Tec.

Tecwyn Report 12 Nov 2014 22:52

Sounds like a good night was had by all Sue :-)

If it wasn't for visiting the Duchess I'd batten down the hatches and stay in.

Knew I should have gone today - oh well

The concert sounds great Sue.
I love that song "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" and I imagine the drums would be very effective.

I expect the children will be dragged out of bed this morning :-D,
falling asleep into their cornflakes :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 12 Nov 2014 22:22

Where has she gone now?

Back to bed maybe

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 12 Nov 2014 22:22

Linda isn't a pussycat I can assure you.

The concert was great. The little ones were so funny and had to be led around the stage. Drew and his class were very good. They sang "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" and did it very well. Some of the children were on drums and that really added to the whole performance. After the performance Drew went to the microphone and thanked everyone for coming and they hoped everyone were enjoying the concert.

After the concert they had a little disco and Drew, Joel and Aimee danced their feet off. I would hate to be getting them up for school this morning.
