I am trying to start my tree again, but storing it in a new place on my computer, it has taken me ages to sort it out. I have managed to copy some bits over from my old tree by having a split screen view, so that will save some time. The worst thing is that all of the photos and census images became corrupted and resaved in a strange format, so |I am going to have to find them and copy them one by one into a new storage file which will take ages

Your baked potato was very posh :-D and not boring

mine was very basic. and very boring

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 15 Nov 2014 18:34

I didn't know about the rugby

Our tea was boring as well. Baked potato and broad beans from the allotment with Italian pork steak from the butchers and my homemade tomato chutney. The pork is covered in a very spicy Italian seasoning, so they don't taste of pork really

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 15 Nov 2014 18:14

I agree, it is a boring match - been playing nearly an hour, and not a goal :-(

Ended up having a baked potato with cheese and chopped ham

equally boring

I still have some clearing to do on one side of the garden.
All the hacking down of hedges and shrubs has made the garden look much bigger, letting in the light.
It was nice working in the winter sunshine, though everywhere is so damp because of all the rain we've had.

It is nice to close the curtains and put the heating on :-)

I must also think about what to have for dinner.now.

I was only half watching it but you were robbed of a try, at least you won

OH spent the afternoon in the garden, he removed a huge amount of stuff, He still has one corner to do plus the front garden.

I have just been pottering in the house, but did walk to the market this morning. It is nice to have closed all the curtains and banished the cold weather. I suppose I had better turn my thoughts to tea now

Da iawn Wales - :-D Wales 17 Fiji 13

we won - just..........scappy match though.

Lovely sunny day here in Snowdonia, a little cool.

Spent a few hours in the garden, tidying up. We might not get many more days to do that.

The local roofer arrived as I have a slate missing (a fact that many of you may have gathered :-D)
He is coming back tomorrow to see to a blocked downpipe.

I am going to the pub for Sunday lunch tomorrow with two ladies :-D

I am glad it is cooler for you Berona.

It is well and truly autumnal here. We have had a few very cold nights and they have seen off the last of the flowers in the garden which were still hanging on because of the unseasonably warm weather. The leaves are coming off the trees very quickly now and with all the rain we have had in the last few days, they are all slushy underfoot

Big drop in temperature to-day, after yesterday. 0nly 25 today. Didn't even think of using the air conditioner. Lovely day...a little overcast with rain forecast within the net few days. I'll believe that when I see it!

Their planes were flying around the Arctic a few weeks ago :-)

Wow - that's a lot of chatting! Still - we've been doing it for quite a few years now.

Well, the 'big boys' have arrived here in Australia for their conference. I'm not happy to know that Russian warships are hovering around Australia - but as long as they go away again, I will be a lot happier.

I just hope that we don't see any kind of attacks attempted while they are all here.

Hello Elizabeth. Nice to see you again. I suppose nobody is here right now - but I like to talk to everybody, so leave my message here for all to see. Take care, all.

Sue ...................

what a shock for you ............... and your OH. As well as for us

did you not have air conditioning in the car??

I've sat in our car here waiting for OH when it hasn't been as hot as that, and he has left the key in the engine, and the air conditioning on.

We got a very hot spell in Melbourne when we were living there ................ it was between Christmas and New Year, and the temperature reached 40C, before the wind changed, and the temperature dropped almost 20C in about 10 minutes :-S

we didn't have air conditioning in either the flat or the car, but we were on the ground floor so it didn't feel quite that hot inside.

do please take care xxxx
