Hello - I'm a bit later than usual. Decided to have a lie in :-)

The weather sounds miserable Linda. It is a sunny morning here but it's supposed to get to the late 30's so I will stay indoors I think. Take care Berona.

Sylvia - glad to see your daughter is home. You can relax knowing all is well.

Just looking in, but not expecting to see Tec as he will be half way down the gin bottle by now. Good job his daughter is there to pick him up :-D

I just said to OH that it feels like bedtime because it is so dark and miserable outside, but it is just after lunch :-(

I had better find something to do to occupy me, so I will go and make some bread and do a bit of tidying up

You should look out of my window Berona, it has been hammering down with rain all night, that has stopped now but it is foggy and everything is squelchy

Glad to know that, Sylvia. There is no bed better than the one you are used to - until you need hospital treatment - then there is no better bed than your hospital bed - until you feel better and then there is no bed better than your own again.

Well, that's how I feel anyway. Even when I go away and have a lovely time - it's still nice when I get home and use my own bed again.

Another warm one here. Almost 28c, so I've put the aircon ON before the house begins to heat up.

got an email from daughter about 1½ hours ago ........... back home, feeling much better but a bit "wiped", very weary and glad to be in her own bed.

Good to hear from her ............... we'll talk on Sunday as usual.

I also called in the local television shop today about have a tv installed in the bedroom - they need to come out to have a look to give me a price for supply and installation.

Yes there's time, and it doesn't matter really how long they take to collect the hospital bed from the dining room.

No they haven't - should come during next week.

I am going to Bangor next week to look at adjustable beds. I have spoken to them on the phone.
They can deliver in 10-14 days.
So I may still be in my bedroom by Christmas :-)

Have your new curtains arrived so your daughter can put them up?
