Not to worry Sue - things are so different now to the way things were twelve months ago - and I've done the sensible thing in alerting the surgeon to possible problems. That gives him the best chance to do something to help.
I have every confidence in him, he did after all save my life in January, against all the odds.
I see it as a little setback. I'll see what he says on Wednesday. Probably have to have some sort of scan I expect.

Yes, I would find out :-D

Don't you dare get ill again, I couldn't stand all the worry again :-|

Tecwyn Report 23 Nov 2014 22:33

Well - I wasn't going to tell you, but I knew you'd find out anyway, so it's better to be up front about things - and I'm not worried, like I said, just a bit disappointed.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 23 Nov 2014 22:31

Please don't worry - it'll be ok.

I'm otherwise quite fit now, whereas last time I was half dead before I got there :-D

Oh you are a worry Tec - I do hope it can be sorted quickly.

Thank goodness for that, but you have us worried <3

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 23 Nov 2014 22:27

I am quite optimistic Linda, a bit disappointed, but the surgeon did tell me to contact him immediately at the first sign of trouble.
So hopefully he can sort things out with minor surgery.
I am not unduly worried.

Sue - I am so lucky, my visitors always ask if there's anything they can do for me. There invariably is unfortunately, but I am quite happy just for them to sit and chat.
It's the little awkward jobs that matter, and I do so appreciate the help.

On Wednesday I have to return to hospital. There are signs of problems with my other leg. :-(

I was fortunate enough to be able to speak to the surgeon directly on Thursday. He wants to see me in his clinic on Wednesday.
I can foresee another short stay in hospital sometime soon, but nothing as dire as the last occasion.

A small bit should be fine surely.

Yes Tec does have a knack of getting his visitors working :-D :-D

Hello Linda - they said the cake was a diabetic recipe, but the sponge and soft icing topping certainly didn't seem like it to me :-D

I'm sure it didn't do any harm.

Hello Tec - it was too warm to do anything outside yesterday.

I'm glad the Duchess had a nice birthday. How nice of the staff to arrange a cake.

You would be glad to have your daughter and SIL do so much for you and more jobs done when your brother and his wife visit. Amazing how your visitors end up doing things for you......I remember it well :-D

Good Morning Sue,

Have you planted up the two new pots yet?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 23 Nov 2014 21:57

Hello, :-)

That was a busy weekend.
My visitors did lots of jobs for me, which is enormously helpful.
This morning they went to visit the Duchess with her birthday presents and card. As she finds it difficult to cope with more than two visitors at once, I thought it better to go this afternoon, which would make more of a day of it for her.
I took her a basket arrangement of flowers, it was very nicely done, and she loves flowers.
When I arrived the staff were just taking her into the dining room. They had a birthday cake, with four candles, and enough cake for everyone, who sang happy birthday to her.
I think by the time I left the Duchess was rather tired, but she had a good birthday.

Tomorrow my brother and SIL are visiting.

The low winter sun is a problem here when driving into it along narrow twisting roads around the coast. I had that problem today also.
