I have no idea how that happened - :-|

Have deleted them now.

A good part of what I posted to Persie is missing?

Gremlins - or the Tolwyth Teg (Welsh Fairies) :-D

No big plans today. The temperature is much cooler for the rest of the week so perhaps some gardening.

OH wants to empty the laundry by the end of the week as he is going to renovate it. We are putting down new tiles, painting iand replacing the sink unit and cupboard. A big job but OH is looking forward to it.

Yesterday we trimmed the shrubs in the front garden. The front of the house looks very neat and tidy now :-)

Hello Linda,

I have not been at the gin. Neither do I have hiccups - why?

Good Morning Sue,

Have you got big plans for today? :-)

Hello you two

Sue, do you think Tec has been at the gin again :-0

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 24 Nov 2014 21:08

Tec :-0. Do you have the hiccups?

Lovely to see our Persie and our Carole back :-D

Dogs definitely grieve. When we lost our beautiful border collie Molly was very sad for quite awhile - she also went off her food.

What a nice surprise to see Carole and Persie back :-)

Carole I knew that Honey had died, and perhaps better than anyone I understand how you feel.
We have the pleasure of our dogs, but ever conscious that one day we must face up to losing them. That is the very worse part of owning a dog.
I understand that your collie went off his food.
When Ianto's sister died, years before him, he didn't eat for over a week, just slept. Dogs do grieve, just like us.

Now, due to circumstances, I won't be having another dog, though I would love one. However, I am fortunate in that I get to share my neighbours dog, who visits every day for his biscuit. She takes in border collies till they can be found a permanent home.
So keep spoiling your present dog, I'm sure that he's loving it :-D

Persie - Glad that you had a nice time away. My washing often flies off the line in sea breezes - nothing has landed on the beach, yet :-D.

Welcome back Persie and Carole, you have both been missed.

I am really sorry about Honey Carole <3

I am glad you had a nice break with your family Persie, I am sure young August kept you on your toes.

Hello everyone,

I'm back :-D Plus they gave me 50 credits, nice of them :-)

Not very much has happened since my break. Although we did lose Honey our Lab :-( We had to put her to sleep! I never want to go through that ever again!! The vet was fantastic and allowed us all to say very teary goodbyes. We had our other dog present while she was being put to sleep and he sadly tried to wake her :-( He went off his food for 4 weeks, which the vet told me was normal.
He is back to his normal self now, although he is terribly spoiled rotten, as he should be :-)

Other than that, its just been the normal work, eat, sleep lol

I hope you are all keeping well and not behaving :-D

<3 Carole xx

Perhaps the match should have been 11 minutes shorter Tec.. Wales certainly pushed the boat out. But somehow with it being Richie's 100th test match as captain he would have had stern words if they had lost. His parents were watching him after all.

I have not been on here in ages.. don't know whether I mentioned our trip to Ohakune to stay with my younger daughter,SIL and August for a few days. We had a nice place which gave us a double room with ensuite, and they were up the other end with their bedrooms and bathroom etc. Clothes driers and dishwashers are usually unheard of at these holiday homes but these were there as well.

We got back from Napier on Friday, this time staying for a week at a place without dishwasher and drier... but then we really did not need a drier. When we got there the Friday evening before it was very windy.. Sat morning it was hot as and the wind was hot as well. The day I did the washing, put it out on the line (was a bit short of pegs so had shirts all joined up etc) .. we were going out and thought we would not be back till dark. The washing had been on the line about an hour, it was completely dry and shirts were hanging by one peg and one had escaped and was way over by the fence with one peg attached. Himself came to help me bring them in, they were blowing back out of the basket as we put them in and the plastic container of pegs tipped over and was like the gingerbread man getting away as fast as it can.

I do hope your stay in hospital is a short one Tec and that this will be the end of it, and that you can enjoy life a bit more... say Happy belated birthday to your good lady the Duchess from myself and August.

Take care all..

Persie

Oh and all us cousins had a great time at my cousin's 80th birthday on the Sat night which was a real surprise party for him.. and we all had brunch at his youngest son and daughter-in-law's place the next day. The daughter-in-law is an excellent interior decorator loved their place.

Hi Sue, and everyone

strange weather we're having here ................ pouring with rain overnight, showers and cloud in the mornings, and sunny afternoons!

Tec ...........

happy birthday to the Duchess xxxx, a little belated, I know :-(

sorry to hear that you are having a problem with the other leg ................. but you have got the specialist on to it early, so hopefully all will go well (((xxx)))

we had trouble with low sun on the early morning that OH had to drive me to one hospital for an injection of a tracer substance, then immediately east to another to have the mastectomy, back in 2011 ................... at 6:30 - 7:00 am, the sun was coming straight at us, on a main city street, and it went on for blocks :-(

At one point, I was trying to peer through the side window, over the side mirror with the window "frame" blocking the sun from my eyes to tell him whether I could see any traffic coming out of a side road or whether there was a traffic light ahead.

It was awful!

Royal Shrewsbury Linda,

The roads are a bit of a challenge until you get over the English border.
I would far rather go there than to any of the alternatives on this side of the border :-0

100 miles by helicopter is one thing, but those roads are something else. Which hospital do you have to go to?

Enjoy your day Sue,

Gosh - they must be violent flies if you have to have a security screen to ward them off :-D
