That does make it worse, as she would have bonded with the baby during that time.

I don't understand how they identified her so quickly, unless she gave herself in.

I know, they said he was twenty four hours old before she put him in there, which somehow makes it worse for me

Tecwyn Report 24 Nov 2014 22:17

That is terribly sad Linda - thank goodness the poor little mite survived.

You have to have some compassion for his mother too, only a desperate or sick woman would do such a thing surely

LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Nov 2014 22:15

I am just watching about the baby found in the rain in Sydney, it is incredible he survived

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 24 Nov 2014 22:15

Linda it was the reverse here.

The Duchess wasn't very good with plants, and didn't understand them :-)

Things would be chopped down regardless, within an inch of their lives.

Some never recovered.

I took to hiding the secateurs and garden shears :-D

SueMaid Report 24 Nov 2014 22:12

I never tidy OH's garage or shed :-0. I wouldn't dare. A room or two full of junk is a different matter. We would do a good job Tec - honest :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Nov 2014 22:12

Here it is OH and the secateurs, I dread it because he massacres the plants

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 24 Nov 2014 22:08

Two things make me cringe................

A woman tidying up my junk, as in a shed, or garage, or similar.......

A woman let loose in a tidy garden with secateurs...............

:-D :-D :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Nov 2014 22:06

Ooh Sue, Tec doesn't want us to come :-|

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 24 Nov 2014 22:04

That strikes terror into my heart, :-D

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 24 Nov 2014 22:02

Linda and I will come and sort out the rooms :-)

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 24 Nov 2014 22:01

Yes my brother did come today. He did a few odd jobs for me which I appreciated,

I wouldn't be so cruel as to send him to tidy up upstairs.

I will supervise a huge clear out in the Spring

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 24 Nov 2014 21:58

Glad it's cooler for you Sue,

They say a good clear out is good for the soul :-)

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Nov 2014 21:57

Did your brother come today? You should have sent him up to tidy up

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 24 Nov 2014 21:56

Yes I know Linda.

I haven't been up there for twelve months, but am reliably informed that it is chaos up there :-|

It certainly wasn't last time I did went up there

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 24 Nov 2014 21:56

That's true Tec but we need something. The good thing about clearing out a room is that you realize how much rubbish you have. It's a good way to have a clear out.

It's nice and cool outside - thank goodness :-)

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Nov 2014 21:53

You need another stair lift to get up to them Tec

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 24 Nov 2014 21:45

Yes - Linda is very posh - but I'm not scared :-D

Thing is, if you had a bigger cupboard, you would throw junk in there. :-D

I have two huge rooms upstairs to store junk and unwanted items.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 24 Nov 2014 21:42

Linda has a laundry too but then she is very posh :-)

Because our laundry is part of the house but you have to go out the back door it often becomes a dumping place for things we don't want cluttering the house. A nice bigger cupboard would be perfect for storing bits and pieces as well as laundry stuff.

Tecwyn Report 24 Nov 2014 21:28

The front of your house must look very smart now.

You've seen what can happen when a garden becomes neglected - nature takes over.

I think you are terrible posh to have your own laundry - mines in the back porch :-D
