Hi Sue, and everyone

I had not heard about that baby, so just googled it ....................... it seems the police went door to door in the neighbourhood, having got some names of new mothers form the local hospital .................... good old detective work

yes, the mother must have been in a terrible emotional state. :-(

we're in the wet here ..................... Pacific storm after Pacific storm rolling through

Hi Carole!

nice to see you back xx

I had to go and do some finding some where's mys.... then thought he had gone and he had come back through the front door, had forgotten his phone, he never looks for it, he rings it from the landline.. then off he goes again down the steps.. and I call out.. don't you want these to drive the RVR... his keys still in the front door.

Now for the tidy up.. and yes what is CWCe?

Have a good night's sleep up North and have a good day in Oz and Huia in NZ..

Carole <3

Cheers Persie

My OH can be messy but at the same time he is not disorganized. He is a great planner which is very useful.

Did he come trained Linda? - or did you send him to Barbara Woodhouse? :-D

My OH is very tidy Persie, he keeps the garage nicely sorted out, he is useful to have around. I couldn;t be doing with a messy disorganised OH

Persie - The Duchess was much better than me at clearing out, because she was ruthless :-D
Actually, although it was painful, I appreciated her lack of sentiment :-D

I waffled on about the rugby match where you slaughtered us, again, but both teams played well. Why do you always send such big blokes.
Welshmen are historically little people :-D

I also thanked you for your good wishes to the Duchess :-)

It could well be that a relative suspected the mother, especially after the news broke

Persephone

Persephone Report 24 Nov 2014 22:29

My OH could not, would not tidy his garage without me. I had done it several times on my own, and when we were clearing up in the big shift, I said you can clear the workshop at the back of the garage. My fingers were sore from cleaning and clearing etc and didn't want to be bending down picking up all the screws. nails and washers that littered the workbench and floor. However, I did do it in a quarter of the time it would take him. He is in the habit of knocking things over, emptying things out etc and leaving his tools wherever he last used them. He gives me cause to keep on living .. I am very useful to have around.

Maybe it is good that you lost whatever you were going to say to me Tec.. I may have had to give a long message in answer to it.

I always think in sad cases like this that it would be better to leave a child where it would obviously be found. That baby was not intended to be found.

His mother needs a lot of help

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 24 Nov 2014 22:24

Perhaps a relative suspected that something was amiss and contacted the police.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Nov 2014 22:23

Nothing has been said about that. It is awful because most mothers would leave the baby where it would be found

SueMaid Report 24 Nov 2014 22:22

It's a dreadful thing but we can only wonder what was going through the mind of his mother. She is in court today. I guess the whole story will come out :-(
