Merlin, it's not what is said or not said, it is when only parts of it are sent around and taken completely out of context....by those who will only see what they want to see..

Facebook is not to blame for anything...I love it, I've found cousins on there that I thought I had lost contact with years ago so it's not all bad.

Like anything else, it is what you make it.

It seems that lots of problems on here seem to stem from what is or is not said on"Facebook" why do people bother with it if that causes trouble on here,Not very Logical to me.**M**.

I thought it was the rule that you had to be a lunatic to be on here....

Well, I'm wondering if Eldrick thinks I'm a lunatic now, cos he never talks to me.

I think I probably over-reacted about the deletion on fb, and tbh it could have been up to a week ago, cos it's not someone I talk to much at all anyway (& never on here) What I was upset about was Caz leaving, and the general undercurrents here recently.

I do always try to take people as I find them. Sometimes I get things wrong - don't we all. I get a little cross when people suggest to me I should be wary of any particular person because years ago they had an argument, but having said that I admit I once urged someone to be cautious about another member, based on things I'd seen them post.

Thanks you all for answering, and for the PM's too. I try to keep this little place in perspective, I have a busy happy life away from these boards and I know a lot of the arguments people still talk about happened before my time on here and I don't know the full story, and don't need to. But I do have friends on here I care about & enjoy talking to. I may have over-reacted last night, I'm not sure, but thanks for listening & replying. And for still being my pals, the ones who don't think I'm a lunatic with a fringe :o)

You know, Anita, the FB gang business is yesterday's news. Yes, I read what went around probably half the world's population including tribes in the deepest jungles of the Amazon. I don't care anymore and I think you'll find not many people if any do. I wasn't happy with what was said and some of it was hurtful but it's gone and we've moved on and the very people who I avoided for awhile I now speak to and have a laugh with. As my son would say "build a bridge and get over it" and I don't mean you, Anita - I mean the people who don't seem to be able to let it go.
