Poor Daff, hope they could get the blood more easily on the re-visit and hope they didn't add to the bruises.

Also hoping the photos which were stuck on pages with descriptions and accompanying letter arrived ok.

Good to hear that Daff is on form. I sympathise about the lack of veins to get blood from, the district nurses have failed again with me and have to come back on Wed to try again. I am used to that though. Some come in and are so certain that they can do it and are so amazed when they cant!! The trouble with resting for a long time , it can be very difficult to get back to normal, especially if people keep telling you, dont do that! Good luck at the clinic.

A really wet morning here, but no flooding locally as far as I'm aware.
Low lying areas of the whole of the south east were at some risk, but I didn't need wellies to go outside this morning, so all is well.

Hope next clinic visit is not so unproductive.... Let them have a drop or two to test.

We think of you often and grandson still talks of your impromptu cooking session together, a few years back.

Phew...sorry it's been so long since I last checked in for duty..but the summer holidays have been keeping me out of trouble...not to mention the five baby finches born in the last few weeks who keep falling out of the nest .......don't ask !!!!!!!! (parents chewed the basket and it's shallower than it should be) so I'm on constant bird patrol ready with a spoon and some tissue to guide them back to safety !!!!!!!! *shakes head*

Morning Daff, Mr D and Troops and especially Smudge...big huggggyy <3 Well the plumbers have succeeded in making a big hole in my bedroom wall by using the wrong drill bit; also I woke up to green foam spreading all over the place..like an alien invasion :-D :-D Someone forgot to turn the foam can off...

Otherwise, all is going well.

Am off to join a monastery until this is finished.....

Hello gang :-D

Daff had platelets and 1.75 units of blood before her vein shouted "enough" and promptly shut down :-0 I don't know how many attempts they made before getting access.

Hopefully she'll perk up again after the boosts :-) but I would bet that she'll still be in her pit when I phone at the weekend :-P

Messages will be passed on at the weekend as usual which she loves to hear.
